Dirty and unclean and to top it off the member of staff was sweeping the floor and used the same brush to clean crumbs off the seat. Such a dirty feel place. There should be a Starbucks local instead of this grim place.

Shocking service from Matt. Decided to have a team meeting half way through taking an order. It took 10 minutes to get 2 flat whites, no other customers waiting.

My first visit in there on the weekend and the 2 ladies were really lovely! They even took the time to amend my account because my partner didn't specify he had his own cup which meant a free bean on the app. Was a pleasure to be served by them both.

It?s a very unique Costa, has its own coffee bar upstairs but clearly not used. Drinks were very nice. Only one man holding down the fort as we entered, doing the food, hot and cold drinks all at the same time as taking orders.

Price of some drinks, gone up. Keep raising prices. 'But' No referbishment?when l ask. Oh next month, this was last month. Oh it's not happening. Looking So tired. Third hand furniture. Plus get the WiFi sorted, thanks.

(Visited 20/12/2023 12:30) Enjoyed a flat white this afternoon which was delicious (my go-to coffee!) made and brought to the table by friendly staff members. I came with two people who had festive hot chocolates, which they enjoyed. The staff explained that they had no whipped cream in stock but it was due to supply issues, so it was totally forgivable and out of their control!Merry Christmas, Costa Newport ????

The service in this Costa Coffee is so unbelievably slow over 20 minutes for a cup of tea I waited. I wasn?t even waiting for my coffee to be heated and made into a fancy decoration on the top of my coffee. Every time I?ve been into this Costa Coffee the wait has been so long and generally I?m nipping from somewhere and want to grab a drink, but this is just taking the 500 cal caramel packed chocolate, Costa, coffee biscuits!

Went in to use the toilet before ordering my drink, only to find out you can?t use the toilet without a keycode to unlock the door which they give you on the receipt once you?ve got your drink. As i needed to use the toilet in an emergency (as a woman), i found this very uncomfortable to then have to stand in a queue waiting for my drink. Then once i had the keycode i went back to use the toilet only the find out one of the toilets was out of order. once i went into the other one after a long wait, i realised it did not have a lock and any customer with the keycode could just unlock it at any moment. it did eventually happen and someone unlocked the door whilst i was in there. the condition of the toilet was filthy with faeces everywhere and rubbish all over the place. The seats and tables were also filthy with coffee stains all over the tables. not a good experience and will not be going back.
