We used to drive up from Codsall most Thursday (I think) nights back in the early 1970's.Saw some great bands (before they got too big), Status Quo, Peter Frampton and many others.I'm just amazed the club is still going and in the same building after 50 years!Rock on.

Spent a fair bit of money to get a taxi just for this nightclub to find out that the place is closed because a lad ended up in a coma the night before and seriously Injured as NONE of the door staff are first aid trained.Absolute joke of a venue you should be disgusted with yourselves! Prime example of greed before safety and value.

Management and security choose to segregate and discriminate against unvaccinated or untested customers, hiding behind claims of "following the law".First off, there is no such law, and secondly, even if there were, it's the businesses duty to defy unjust "laws" that violate human rights by forcing discrimination.Cowardly behaviour, hiding behind "just doing what I'm told" is not good enough. Ignorance of the law has never been a valid excuse for its violation.You had a choice, stand for the british people, or stand for corrupt government. You chose wrong!

the worst night club i have ever been to !!dirty, sticky and smelly !!! music is awful!!do not entre the toilets !! do not touch anythingthe place lets the people of newport down in the most disrespectful way!plus being ask to produce id when being over 40 is really disrespectful then paying £5 to get was a kick in the face, considering it hasnt been refurb, let alone cleaned for the past 20years!!its an absolute disgrace!!!

What a horrible place.The toilet were falling apart. There was a lose cable running along the floor.The floor to dance area was sticky and people were spilling drinks over the floor and over people . It was packed like sardines.. I was actually wondering if the 'stage type box' would hold that many people. The bouncers were VERY rude.Not a nice place at all. Would not recommend it. Waste of a fiver.
