Used Carl Summers to get our first mortgage, Carl is great and talked us through the process step by step. He was recommended to us by several friends who had also had a good experience.Found us a great rate and reapplied several times as rates lowered through the house buying process. All very friendly and great communication. Will be back!

Was recommended CSFS by a colleague at work.Emma was my first advisor - she was fantastic: supportive, attentive and very knowledgeable when it came to answering questions. However she has since left the business.Upon her departure, Matt took over my case and was just as brilliant. Very supportive and had no issues explaining things to me that i was unfamiliar with, as I was a first time buyer. Also supported when it came to finding home insurance - he put me in touch with his colleague, Simon.Simon who organised my home insurance was super friendly, concise and proactive in communicating to me what each level of cover was providing, and allowed me to make my own decision without pressure to choose something that net them a bigger commision.Reuben was also very proactive in chasing my solicitors who were unresponsive and unhelpful at points in the process, which I'm very grateful for.All in all a very positive experience in all aspects, and will be returning to them when my fixed rate comes to an end. Thanks to all - your efforts were all very much appreciated! An overall positive experience for a first time buyer!

I contacted Carl Summers based on the recommendation of a work colleague, to apply for a mortgage as a 1st time buyer, on the ex-local authority flat I had been renting for 9 years.He was very pleasant and easy to talk to, but unfortunately he was unable to get me the mortgage I needed, and I was left very disappointed, and ?out of pocket?, having paid the £395.00 fee.Whilst I passed the finance check, the mortgage lender used Countrywide Surveyors to value the property (they are well known for undervaluing/not valuing properties) and the lender declined to lend on the property, on the basis of their valuation.Carl didn?t have access to any other lender he felt would be able to help me, and kept telling me I was underwritten, and to look for another property, but this was no use to me as I wanted to buy the property I lived in.I had no choice but to go with another mortgage advisor and thankfully he put me in with a correct lender, who offered me the mortgage, and I finally became a 1st time buyer property owner.I did contact Carl to let him know my good news, that I was now a property owner, but he didn?t reply to my email, which I also found disappointing.Carl may be very good in a certain field, but he was unable to deliver for me, and ultimately, it cost me £395.00.

My accountant recommended this company because I needed professional advice on my self invested pension scheme. I spoke to Barry Ross who is a financial advisor and he was helpful. He gave me good advice and I am pleased to say I have sorted out my problem. The reason for the 5 star review is he went above and beyond what you would normally expect. He is good at his job, honest and I would definitely recommend him.
