We went for Sunday lunch and it was excerlant, the food had been cooked and presented to the highest standard, and the staff could not have been friendlier. I would highly recommend the Cross Keys.

Wonderful community pub. I scored high on food but only judged on appearance as we didn't eat. We were made so very welcome. It's a beautifully restored real pub. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Pricy but worth it gastro pub.
Good enough that mum and I both decided we wanted to come try their sunday roast after having the rump steak (if you're used to buttery american-style steak it might be a touch tough for you, but it's very flavourful and flawlessly cooked and the peppercorn sauce is delicious).
The batter on the fish and onion rings is lovely too.
They source local ingredients which is always good.
Very clean and decorated more restaurant than local pub. So while good quality furniture there weren't any comfy seats or banquette style seats so if you have a bad back maybe just get one course but that is not on them, it's purely my preference!
Huge recommend provided you're not a huge group!

Popped in one Saturday afternoon to the most delightful reception from the lady behind the bar. The interior is beautiful with a log burner... restaurant spacious although didn't sit in it. only went in for drinks but immediately drawn to the hand cut chips. Ordered two and were not disappointed.... lashings of salt and vinegar which hit the spot. Very well managed, we will be back shortly for a full blown meal and overnight stay in our van....How a pub should be run.?

Brilliant pub with restaurant quality food. They had a brilliant February offer with 2 courses for £17 and it was the best cottage pie I'd ever had.

We were visiting from out of town and were recommended this restaurant by our Airbnb hosts. We were so impressed we thought we had to leave a review! We had the Valentine?s set menu, and every dish was flawless. We both had the ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. The attention to detail in the presentation was also impressive. The staff were all exceptionally polite and friendly, and were quick serving drinks etc all evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Amazing country pub and restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere with good service , very good cocktails and delicious food. Definitely coming back. Was so pleasant finally to relax and enjoy the experience.
