This is what a pub should be. Friendly staff (and customers!), great atmosphere, good beer, honest food.
Small but sensibly priced menu, tasty food, large portions, well cooked & presented by lovely staff.
We went mid-week: it was full!
Really well done ?. Would definitely recommend.

Walked down on Christmas Eve for a drink with my wife about 8pm. The music was blasting out at an uncomfortable level and we left immediately with buying a drink. It?s a village pub not a disco, cater for everyone please! I?m not adverse to music but you have to be able to hold a conversation! Staff were not welcoming

Very unfriendly dark haired lady serving behind the bar . Been coming here for over 30 years. First time I've ever felt unhappy here.

Watched the Grand National: friendly local pub worth a visit. Flagstone floor wood panels real fire but only four stats as the pint of Doombar I had was not quite 100%.. but I will def be back!
