Customer service staff were nice enough. No public toilets & car park is 1 hour maximum stay or you get fined. Doesn't feel like any Asda I'm used to as it's smaller than any I've been in before although it's not small & it has an older more village feel about it, that's just my perception anyhow and that's a nice thing. Thank you to the staff who tried to help but couldn't really do very much about my problem with a refund from a different store :-) They do do parcels collection & deliveries & of orders

I have no complaints about ASDA really, just that prices appear to be going up quite a lot on all items and even the essentials line that they've started doing in their yellow packets seem to be going up as well.

Great for collecting George orders as well as picking up kitchen staples.

This morning, I went to the store to buy Monkey Shoulder at the offer rate. However, they were out of stock, so I headed back to the car park. As I was leaving, two staff members from the store came out and took down my car number without my permission before going back inside. It was a really unpleasant experience for me.

We are narrowboaters who often used this store as it?s handy for the canal. I?ve noticed, however, that it?s deteriorating recently in terms of the choice it offers.Yes, it?s a small store so I don?t expect everything but there is a definite lack of imagination into how stock is selected. Several different brands of exactly the same product for some items, whilst other common items are completely absent from the shelves. If you?re a boater do yourself a favour and walk just a few minutes further into the town centre where you?ll find Iceland, smaller, but more imaginatively stocked and a better chance you?ll get everything you need in one shop.

I find the store OK on the whole. At the end of the day it's a small store so don't expect to have all the choices that you'd find in a superstore. When the tills declare that you need to have a product checked, eg: alcohol, tablets etc, the staff can take an age to come to your assistance? The staff have a strange way of communicating, by shouting to eachother down the aisles?Last time I went, there was a full blown slanging match between staff members at the rear of the store by the loading bay? I stayed to listen, as one does ;)
