Visited for the first time this week to this lovely little pub.Nice to see management mixing with customers and chatting to a lovely couple about all the places they’ve stayed over the years.When the couple left all we heard was the management running them down absolute disgusting behaviour and we sure vowed not to return.Management... read full comment

Had Sunday lunch today in the Wheatsheaf. OMG, it has to be the best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time. Food piping hot, peppery mash, veggies cooked to perfection, beef cut like butter. Staff were very friendly. Couldn't fault it. Also great value. Will definitely return.
