Huge fan. Even though, like anywhere, staff have moved on or turned over, there seems to be a strong culture here; staff are responsive, well-trained, and know how to listen and react accordingly. I'd certainly recommend.

Excellent service at every step of the way. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Ellie was especially helpful in finding the best frames. She was very patient and took her time helping me. She's the best person I've ever had help me to find new frames!

A very welcoming, professional and thorough team. I'm very happy to continue to go there for all my eyecare even though they are 16 miles away. They even made an extra effort to co-ordinate appointments for both my wife and myself.If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Great team trying hard but not equipped to handle modern day challenges like giving an official copy of your prescription to you. This is not compliant with uk law.Limited selection of frames means that someone with a narrow face may need to take your prescription elsewhere. This is perfectly reasonable.This requires getting the actual document that they can?t provide by mail, in person or online. This locks you into frames that don?t fit :( This part isn?t reasonable.Imagine that they are a small village shop and it?s a great experience. Pick frames first.UK law requires that the prescription be provided.I have been advised to- complain to your local integrated care board (ICB). Find out about the NHS complaints procedure.The Optical Consumer Complaints Service (OCCS) may also be able to give you advice or provide some mediation. The OCCS website has more advice for consumers.

I had to visit an optician urgently yesterday on the advice of my GP, my usual optician wasn?t open but I was able to get a same day appointment here which is where my Son is a patient - they were absolutely brilliant and so caring (I was in quite a bit of pain!!) it was no bother to them that I wasn?t registered as a patient with them, the optician was really kind and gave me a thorough examination and explained everything clearly, she recommended products and I was able to buy them there and then and the prices were comparable to the cheapest prices online, plus I wasn?t sold anything I didn?t need - I was so impressed that they will now become my regular optician

My first few visits were OK, and I like my new frame but I still do not think that the glasses are fitting quite right on my nose for my vision to be "correct" using varifocals. I am still persevering at present.
