Lovely shop however, found it to be very overpriced. Nearly £8 for 2 pork loins. Many of the same brands of pickles, relishes and mayo?s etc can be bought at the food festivals for quite a bit cheaper too.

Not exciting!

An excellent choice of foods, which are being prepared in house. You will, however, pay a premium, but in my opinion it is worthwhile

Lots of parking, never been before, it all looks very nice but it is all so expensive,
Glad we went and had a look around,

Really pretty farm shop and restaurant. Not very big which was a little disappointing but we got some treats and had some lunch in the restaurant. Ample parking, nice outdoor seating. Would come back for the restaurant. And would love to try the pub next door in the future.

Lovely shop. Staff can be more friendly.

Nice venue with different products can be overpriced as some of the products that are identical can be found in Ludlow shops cheaper. That said the food and drink never disappoints.

I called at the farm shop and restaurant on way home from north Wales. It was a great find. The shop was really well stocked with fresh produce. The cafe was great. I also found the Gin distillery interesting and will go back for a proper shop.

I've been coming here for years, it's always been pricey, but worth it for the quality and variety of the products available. I visited again recently after 6 months or so and honestly I'm so disappointed. For example, you used to get a two pack of brownies for a decent price, now it's the same price for just one! The portion sizes of a lot of their on site made products have gone down and the prices gone up, it's so sad! They seem to sell more brought in tat that you can get from other shops for cheaper too.
Not to mention Ludlow kitchen, which again has gone so downhill since I last visited. Was told there was a 30 min wait for food, then told there wasn't which was good, but when we went to order we were told what we wanted wasn't in stock but the alternative was, so we ordered that. After nearly 20 mins of waiting and the chefs looking angry, we were approached and told there was actually none of what we ordered available now. But we saw multiple orders of what apparently wasn't left originally being taken out only a couple minutes prior and AFTER? The server was lovely though and sorted us out, so I can't fault the servers or the manager who was very apologetic when giving us the refund for the two unavailable plates.
I'm not sure what's happened, whether a change of owner, manager etc but it just doesn't have the home-y, community feel anymore. I grew up in Ludlow and to see these places cater only for the "better off people" in the area will just mean you lose vital, loyal, local customers. Good luck.

Very disappointing. The shop was very expensive even though nothing was organic, we made the mistake of not checking the use by dates ourselves. The scones we bought in the cafe were dry and unpleasant and the ordering system, using QRcodes, was akin to a motorway service station. Not a pleasant experience and definitely not a go to destination. We would have had a better experience and probably better food by going to McDonalds or Greggs.

Very expensive

The selection of fresh produce is poor and some rotting in the stall. Bread is bought in by the looks of it, not made in store. The sausage rolls etc portion size is made for a hobbit but at full price. It?s just too expensive for what it?s worth.

We had a disappointing breakfast here yesterday ; the sausages had obviously been reheated from the previous day - they were tough and very dry .
We used to visit regularly for breakfast and it was excellent then .
The recent introduction of paying at the till to order means that you cannot request any additional items such as a further cup of coffee from a waitress whilst eating breakfast. Unbelievable that you actually have to go up to the till to do this.
The previously high standards have fallen.

The restaurant is not open for lunch when we visited but we had meal at the cafe. Love the atmosphere. The shop has a lot of made in UK product.
