Lovely dog friendly pub, I loved the blankets, water and biscuits that was available as you walk in, helped keep Cindy comfortable after her walk! and the food was lovely and customer service was really good would highly recommend ? Also I loved the lil cavi trotting around she was so sweet!

We visited The Sutherland on a Friday evening, beautiful decor. Our food was very tasty apart from one of the mains. The pork belly was overcooked and hard so left. Delicious wine. Also just felt as we were asked to many times if all was ok by waiters etc. About 5 different people kept asking us. Love to be asked if all ok but this was a little overwhelming. We will visit again though.

Amazing staff, service, food, drinks. Perfect friendly welcome. Never had a bad experience in the last 7 years we have been visiting the Sutherland Arms. Christmas Day and Boxing Day perfection from our arrival. Above and beyond service and welcome every time.

I don't often get out of London/The South, but when I do it's places like this that keep me coming back. I love sitting in a nice rural pub and thinking to myself, "There's more to life than the big smoke". The pints are so cheap compared to london standards the kitchen produced a steady flow of hot chips to boot!
Safe to say we got seriously stuck in... can't wait to return and enjoy some more wainwright ales and golden beads!
