Due to me being so disorganised, my daughter and I attended a gin making session 2 hours late. We were really disappointed but the owners told us we could join the cocktail tasting session an hour later. Whilst we waited we were served some lovely cocktails and some nibbles. Once everyone arrived we were all treated to an informative demonstration on cocktail making and serving. It was not the stuffy pompous sessions I?ve attended in the past at different venues. The emphasising here was having a good time. Everyone certainly did.
We enjoyed it so much we rebooked for the gin making session a few weeks later!
Last Saturday was the date we attended the gin making session (we were on time too!).
Once again we had a great time creating our own gins whilst sampling some other amazing gins.
We would definitely recommend this company for treating friends and family for a special afternoon learning about gins and cocktails in a fun and informal atmosphere. The hosts are brilliant and they go out of their way to ensure you have a great time.
Thank you both for putting up with us. We will definitely be back soon!

What a fabulous afternoon making our own gin. First of all you are welcomed with a cocktail that you are able to drink whilst the gin making process is explained. You then choose your own botanicals and are given all the advice you want as you ?concoct? your mix. I can?t recommend the experience highly enough, thoroughly enjoyable, helped by trying out their gins as you are guided through distilling yours. Don?t hesitate to give it a go. Thank you Shropshire Distillery for an amazing experience.

I got this experience as a gift for my mum and I for something for us to do together. The experience ran 3/6pm and we had the most amazing time. You get 5 gins throughout the experience to try and get to make your own, leaving the day with your very own 70cl bottle of gin! Emma and Gareth were amazing throughout the day making it a personal and interactive experience along the way. Would highly recommend this experience for anyone. We will definitely be back!

Me and my partner both had an amazing time, this was such a thoughtful gift for us. And their gin and liquors are properly delicious, we bought two bottles as well as going home with the one we made. Would highly recomend!

Can?t think of many better ways to spend a Saturday afternoon. Our hosts taught us all we needed to know about how to make a craft gin, whilst serving a number of superb gins from their own stock. The experience is relaxed, good fun with just enough technical knowledge and experience to make you feel like a distiller. Making and naming your own gin which is added to the library for future re-ordering is a very clever idea. Go on, treat yourself and take someone with you.

We did the Gin making experience and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Emma was a great host, attentive to each participant, brimming with knowledge and all round fun. Shropshire Gin stands out from other similar experiences and the idea of keeping your recipe card on file is absolute genius! You can both Emma and Gareth are beyond passionate about what they do and that shows in their work. A huge thank you from us both.

Emma and Gareth are very welcoming and do an excellent job at the gin school, very knowledgeable and provide advice in making your own gin. And lovely gin provided while making your own ? Great experience and ideal present for a gin lover?... We had problems getting a taxi from Ellesmere so we ended up taking the number 53 bus to Dudleston Heath this left at 14.10 and returned at 18.30 and only £2 per person each way.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. This is the best distillery tour and gin making activity we have ever experienced and we have been to quite a few. It is a small family run distillery in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. Emma and Gareth are so welcoming and knowledgeable. The distillery is a comfortable space and the difference gins are unbelievable. You are given different gin and tonics to taste and these are full gins not samples as we have experienced at other distilleries. I would highly recommend a tour followed by a gin making experience. (On different days of course) If you like gin you will not be disappointed.

A hugely enjoyable afternoon at The Shropshire Gin Distillery.?Gin school? was a real treat. From trying all the lovely gins made at the distillery, to blending our own selection of botanicals to make a bespoke bottle the good stuff, it was a fun and informative three hours.Owners Emma and Gareth were so welcoming and knowledgeable, what they have created at the distillery in Ellesmere is really impressive and we thoroughly recommend a visit.
