Garden centre had a good selection of plants however our visit was marred by very slow service in the cafe. We waited for around 40 minutes for a toastie and a bowl of soup. Would put off going back.

The cost of food here is extortionate and not worth it, nip to the pound inn for a £ or two more you get a professionally cooked meal... instead of dried out veg and a pie that has hardly any filling ..

The dining area is next to the children's play booth. It sounds like feeding time at the zoo, screaming children running around unattended. Decent selection of plants.

Food was good, had soup with a roll. Staff were polite and pleasant. When l went to get the cutlery l picked up several pieces that were not clean before l found some that were. I told a mamber of staff whoseemed disinterested and walked away withthe pieces l had given her. Also, when the tea arrived the cup still had stains on.

Usually stop once a month for cake and coffee. I think at this point I've tried almost every cake they have and they are all perfect. Even though I like chocoloate, that chocolate fudge cake is a bit much. Damn lovely but damn sweet.
Only dissapointing thing with the drinks is that the hot chocolate is no loger made with milk, just water.

Good quality plants today, very tempting.....
Wanted some compost but think it was expensive.
Another visit today, husband bought some Pavers shoes, there was a sale of up to 30% off on some shoes. Friendly member of staff, Linda was very helpful . When my husband found size 9 too big she found size 8 for him to try, unfortunately these were too small but Linda suggested using leather insoles which solved the problem. Thank you Linda
On today's visit (03/09/24) I was surprised to see lovely colourful plants for sale on such a dreary day, mainly As there's and Cyclamen

Very disappointing afternoon tea , ordered it a week before .On arrival didn't seem to know about it , table wasn't set up . Sandwiches cut into triangles ,not finger .Prawn ,cheese & pickle & ham with alot of mustard which we dont like ,no quiche only sausage rolls .Scones only had 1 cream & 1 jam for 2 scones ,needed 1 of each per scone as scores were big .This was a christmas present from my daughter on a gift card ,it was obvious it was prepared very quickly .
