Poor customer service! My eye sight isn't what it used to be as I'm getting on in years, so I politely asked for assistance to locate the oven cleaner products, the elderly lady behind the till completely ignored my simple request & told me she was to busy to help despite the fact I was the only customer in the shop at that time, so I asked again, the second time round I was met with a verbal assault, i was visibly shaken, so to avoid any further confrontation i immediately left the store. When i got home i contacted customer service to lodge an official complaint, I was told that this matter will be looked into urgently. It's been 4 weeks & I haven't heard anything so I'm leaving my complaint here.

Unbelievably shocking and I will be visiting the store. Ordered for a home delivery for a burger and beer deal. £6.50 however no beers arrived, complained and got a shocking 80p refund. Disgusting thieves. Tried to call the store multiple times and they chose to answer the phone and put it straight down. Never been so disappointed. I will be placing a complaint with the general head office for the lack of care from the store. I cannot believe the service we haven?t received. Glad I have a ring doorbell so they cannot deny or lie about the crap service they?ve decided to provide.

absolutely rude no customer service skills make customers feel like crap expensive shop definitely wouldn?t recommend
i posted this review 2 years ago however i recently revisited this shop as i thought it might have upgraded but nope, i asked for a very personally item for a certain medical condition that i will not disclose on here, the older lady was moaning about me and my partner looking for things to the other staff and they disclosed what i was looking for and she laughed down her mic to the other lady and gave me the dirtiest look and made me feel so uncomfortable and disgusted.

Staff are very good and friendly. New screen has been fitted which might be good for protecting staff from germs or nasty customers but with a very small hatch to get your purchases and attempt to load things into your shopping bags without anywhere to stand your bag is difficult. To make matters worse on the side is a stand with the local newspapers. Do look after your staff but also think about your customers needs.

Always friendly and helpful staff, easy to find things making quick stops better, never really rammed, may have 2 or 3 in a queue, any bigger the staff are quick to reduce it.

Used to be a handy shop to get the odd things in the week such as milk, tobacco etc but I?m now completely put off due to their dire customer care. When paying at the checkout it all went through, my partner was there on my behalf. He had to go back in with my card as they said it hadn?t all gone through and he had to do the transaction again. This time he was told it was successful. Upon checking my bank statement online they didn?t just take one payment but 2! So I contacted them and asked them to cancel the one pending transaction as they had made an error as a duplicate payment was taken, refused to help me with this until the money exited my account and told me to contact my bank. Contacted my bank and they said if I could get an authorisation code to cancel the one pending transaction from co op they could help me. Asked co - op for this and they refused to give me one saying they don?t do this and can?t cancel it their end, my bank said they should?ve been able to do this. So after a very poor customer service, I explained everything to my bank over the phone and they eventually helped me right there and then! One of the poor excuses was that multiple people had experienced the same issue on the same day because they had technical issues and apparently couldn?t find my transaction and it was coming up as ?0? but were more than happy to have my money. Handy for local shopping and good opening hours ( open daily from 6am to 10pm ) where you can really find everything we need in our lives, free cash machine, The National Lottery, The Health Lottery, PayPoint, top-up point, Amazon Hub, DPD Pick-up point, Costa Coffee machine, instore bakery, hot food stand, The Salvation Army clothing\\u0026shoes donation container, large car parking ( up to 1 hour free the Co-op customers parking ), good range at the best quality of fresh vegetables, items for general household use, alcoholic beverages, wine, spirits, soft drinks and chilled goods for sale and even more than we could imagine and the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Claire ??
