We we’re staying in the area and came across The Crown. Wow what a fantastic find.

Welcome to the Crown Country Inn
near Ludlow, Craven Arms and many other areas in South Shropshire.
The Crown is a Grade II listed building that has been transformed into a comfortable Bed and Breakfast, Restaurant and locals Inn with many original features still in place. Inglenook fire places, flagstone floors and carvings in wooden beams set in an historic atmosphere for you to take lodgings or dine.
The Crown was first licensed in 1790 and is still a central meeting point in the Shropshire countryside. 2 AA Rosettes for food, 4 star AA Inn classification, listings in the Good Food Guide and numerous other awards are a testament to the commitment of the resident owners Richard and Jane, since they took over in 2001.
