Went for food with my partner? We had a such a lovely time. I had the pie and hand-cut chips and my partner had the fish and chips. Both were delicious. The staff were all attentive and friendly. The drinks were reasonably priced. Overall, the whole experience was lovely. Will definitely be visiting again!

We had a lovely time Saturday at the Live and Let Live
We have been a few times before and we really fancied some good pub food.
The food was fresh and tasty! The mixed grill was huge and my salad was such good value for money.
I forgot to take a picture of the desserts but they were super yummy and well presented.

What a gem!
We stumbled across The Live and Let Live in Neen Sollars during a little evening drive and couldn?t be happier we did. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but it?s the staff that truly make this place shine ? incredibly friendly and genuinely hospitable. Doug (our dog) was made to feel just as welcome as we were, and thoroughly enjoyed his sausages, which got a big paw of approval! The food was excellent, freshly prepared, and full of flavour. This place is a rare find ? we?ll definitely be back soon!

Lovely pub. Staff were very efficient. Food was ok. Steak & ale pie was average & for the price of the pie & chips, I think the small pot of veg should have been included & not extra.
Got very busy over the course of the evening, so clearly a popular place.

Food was excellent and we received the warmest welcome from the exceptional staff. Various dietary requirements were accommodated without a problem and everyone went out of their way to make this the highlight of our holiday in this lovely area.

To be honest, I'm rarely impressed. This place, however, has blown me away.
We received the warmest of welcomes from the staff, and we had a look around while the drinks were being poured. It is absolutely stunning inside. Lots of dark wood with carvings, stained glass windows, exposed brickwork and quite a few nooks and crannies, perfect for an intimate visit ? The rooms kind of circle the bar area, with most having direct bar access. The bar is also lovely to look at with its own carvings.
Now to the food. He ordered a starter of chicken liver patè and chutney which I had to try. Delicious! I ordered a steak and stilton pie with chips. It was served with a generous sized jug of gravy. I declined the offer of additional veg. He ordered chilli, rice with homemade nachos and sour cream. Which I also had to try. Very nice! But my pie and chips. Well. 10/10 does not cover it. Perfectly baked, perfectly flavoured, and the beef just melts in the mouth. No fat, no gristle. The chips were well cooked and crispy at the edges. Just perfect. I don't usually go for a dessert because nothing appeals, but here I am spoiled for choice! Rum and raisin bred and butter pudding with cream it is. Hell have the white chocolate and caramel cheesecake.

A group of us attended for a wake, not the best of reasons to attend but everything was spot on. Food, staff ale all good. Will defo return, even though getting to it is a trial due to the exceptionaly bad, pot holed lane to & from.
