My husband and I are on a weekend getaway with our elderly (and quite anxious) German Shepherd. We took our dog with us to the Boyne Arms for a drink, hoping it would be calm enough for him to enjoy a little bit of time out. The staff were lovely, and the individual booths made having an entire meal out doable even with children and other dogs present. We get anxious, too, in case our dog is bothering others, but he was offered a bowl of water and even treats, along with a warm reception from all of the people he interacted with.
The food was lovely, the service amazing, the atmosphere was very family friendly and accommodating and I can't recommend it enough.

Hosted our daughters 5th birthday party in the beer garden. 35 kids plus the adults and we still had plenty of room to play. Attention to detail was second to none, communication up to the event was spot on. Executed a rainy day plan that morning with the inflatables company. Great food and the beer garden itself is STUNNING. Thank you Michelle, Tim and Keith! 11/10

We?ve just had our sons christening at the boyne, already one of our favourites for a Sunday lunch, Michelle and Tim out of a great day for us. The marquee was well equipped and the food was fantastic. They even sorted a bouncy castle for the kids and there wasn?t anything that was too much hassle. Thank you for making it a great day

Went here today 14th june2025 with my daughter and husband we had an amazing meal for was gorgeous service was excellent the staff there were really friendly and helpful we will definitely be going again

Only stopped here for a drink after long walk/climb up to Brown Clee. Made to feel very welcome - sat in pod in pretty garden. Would like to return to try food as menu looked good.

We stayed in the Boyne Arms Cottage and had a lovely break. The cottage is lovely and right next to the pub. There was everything we needed and a few things we weren't expecting, for example smart TVs in both bedrooms.
The Boyne Arms itself serves great food and has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. It was pleasant and informative to speak to some of the locals.
I would highly recommend eating here and staying here if you get the chance.

The food at this establishment is truly exceptional. The landlord is incredibly friendly, making me wish this charming pub was our local. It's a lovely old pub that is definitely worth a visit
