Had a fabulous 2 night stay at The Yew Tree Inn. Staff friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The food in the evening delicious and very reasonably priced.
The full english breakfast was simply one of the best we've had. It's the perfect place to stay with easy access into Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Would definitely recommend x

Just called in for a drink en route from Shrewsbury to Church Stretton.
Beers good,wine by the glass not so good but overall a pleasant pub.
Did not have any food on this occasion.

What a lovely, proper pub. We visited for a funeral and was really taken by the atmosphere and delicious beer... We shall return!

Food was lovely we had the carvery well cooked good selection.
There were other options.
The pub its self is really nice a little village pub feel but with plenty of space .
There is outside seating and an outside bar .
Enough parking for about 30 cars .
I'd suggest booking or phoning ahead as it seems popular.

Stayed here on my trip from John o Groats to Lands End. The staff were amazingly friendly, the atmosphere amazing, food superb I cannot praise highly enough. Rooms were amazing, far above what I expected. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you once again!
