Had such a great stay here this weekend. The land lord and land lady were both very friendly, helpful and accommodating towards our group. The rooms were comfy and well equipped. The location can not be beaten, fabulous walks just a stones throw away and it was a delight to see the wild ponies. Church Stretton is such a bustling little town. We had an evening meal and breakfast which was lovely. Perk was an 80's themed night , with band, fancy dress and dancing. All the locals were very friendly and we all had a ball. would reccomend to others and I hope to return.

Lovely little pub in Church Stretton. Great to stop at for a drink or a bite after walking the Carding Mill Valley. Friendly staff and the owner. Sweet little gem in the area, highly recommend.

Great little pub. Great staff. Lovely food, proper homemade meals instead of chain pub ping meals. Would definitely eat there again if in the area.

Please advertise on the menu outside that you don?t do food on Monday. We?d made our choice, gone in, ordered drinks and were then told. Only thing available pork pie/sausage roll (cold) which were sort of ok.

Decent little boozer, food was nice enough, tad expensive for what it was but I suppose not much choice in the area.

An Exceptional Stay at The Bucks Head
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Bucks Head, and I can?t recommend it highly enough. From the moment i arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home.
The people truly made this stay special. Sarah and Ruby went above and beyond, offering helpful advice and always willing to assist with anything i needed. Their friendliness and professionalism were a standout part of the experience and really added a personal touch that you don't find everywhere.
The facilities were excellent?clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is fantastic too, making it easy to explore the local area while enjoying a peaceful and charming setting.
If you?re looking for a place that combines great people, excellent amenities, and an ideal location, The Bucks Head is the perfect choice. I?ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family!

Took my son out for food here. We had a wonderful time the staff were very obliging and the food was beautiful. Highly recommend.

Staff were pleasant, the pub itself was comfortable and the music was quite good.
Was charged £3.70 for a pint of room temperature Diet Pepsi poured from a plastic bottle kept on the floor behind the bar though.

Great value accommodation with a fantastic breakfast and a warm welcome. Great as a base for walkers. Room noisy Friday night (above the bar) but other nights we had a very peaceful stay.
