We have just returned from a wonderful three day stay at Pheasant Walk Eaton Manor. We went as a couple and stayed in this lovely one bedroom bungalow which is set in an idyllic location. The bungalow looks out to open fields and from every aspect of the accommodation you can see fields and hear bird song. The accommodation has everything you could wish for and we also received a welcome hamper which included some freshly pressed apple juice locally sourced and ground coffee along with biscuits and milk. We enjoyed using the well stocked games room playing table tennis, pool, air hockey and snooker. Each day we went to the pool for a booked slot and everything was clean and well maintained. This break allowed us time to re charge, unwind in the lovely private garden and go on some fantastic walks. We would certainly love to stay here again in such a comfortable property with fantastic facilities. Thank you to the team at Eaton Manor.

FANTASTIC! We stayed in Pendennis as a family of 8 ( 6 adults 2 children) and it was superb. Now our family is a little out of the ordinary; my parents needed a walk in shower; one adult is in a wheelchair and need all the amenities and I have a son with ASD so dose not like crowds oh and a big boundy 2yr old black labrador. After my sister found this property on the Internet I, personally, was sceptical but it was perfect. Now it's not all about the additional facilities, the bungalow itself is in an amazing quite location with, without doubt, the most amazing views I've every seen. The place was spotlessly clean and furnished with high quality everything. The attention to detail was great, little things like having 2 kettles, enough plates and cutlrey for everyone including there being a full set already in the dishwasher etc The owners had put a welcome bundle together with all the essentials and even a special gift as we were celebrating our mums 70th b.day. There was plenty of space for us all to spend time communally but also were we could be in our own individual areas and have seperate time (always needed when away for a while together lol). The outdoor area was superb, a big patio and bbq facility which we managed to use only once due to the weather and the dog loved it. The garden was fully enclosed and the driveway gated so he got to be outside free and happy living his best life. In addition to the garden the walks around the manor and its grounds were great. I tend to take him out walking by myself and felt comfortable and safe walking him around the local fields and countryside. Within the property the owners had left lists of nice walks and the dog Welcombe pack was brilliant (treats, bowl, towels, poo bags, blankets for the sofa if required #spoilt). Now anyone whos every been on a long wet dog walk knies the best thing to come back to is a private en suite hot power shower and a comfy bed ? Note the beds are so comfy I even asked the owners for the make/model so I can order a new one for home! In addition to the bungalow being great to relax, unwind and make memories in we had use of the pool and play/entertainment barn. I found these a great facility, especially as it rained 90% of our time away. We could walk down (those less able drove) as individuals or as a group (the barn had level access) and we played snooker, pool, air hockey and table tennis whilst my lad enjoyed playing in the soft play area. Note, the barn dosent have toilets but we didn't find this to be an issue. The pool is next door to the bungalow and was a nice temperature without being heated. We booked time slots and this seemed to work really well. We did go out individually and as a group and found a local co-op, petrol station and greggs within a 10min drive, there were also little village shops and cafes about 15mins away. Shrewsbury is within driving distance for larger supermarkets although we found it easy to get an on-line shop delivered for our arrival day (tesco). I recommend Jump In trampoline park Shrewsbury if you have children that need to let off some energ :) I also found a nice stables aprox 25mins drive where I went on a ride out for an hour x In summary, I would stay again with friends or family, I enjoyed being in a peaceful idyllic location with the option to drive out to places but mainly spend time relaxing, eating nice food and enjoying a country walk and a large glass vino St thw end of the day! Lastly the owners /hosts were lovely, i met them a couple of times whist out with the dog and they were super friendly, professional and informative, very much made us feel welcome x Note only a few pics, mainly the dog, as all others have family members in them x Tracey D

The Garden Cottage at Easton Manor is a wonderful place to return after a day walking along the long Mynd. The cottage is extremely well equipped and receives sun all day long. Retiring in the garden on a comfy chair or stretch out on the sofa in the sitting room and letting time fly was one of my vices. Occassionally, my wife and I would play frisbee in the large beautifully kept garden. The hygiene quality is excellent....my wife and I have stayed at many boutique cottages and it never seems to impress us how Nichola and her staff keep it so immaculate! Additionally, there is a games room, so if you fancy snooker, table tennis, foozeball after a long day walking, then simply walk to the games room and indulge. We simply adore Eaton Manor and are looking forward to returning next year!

Eaton Manor accepts dogs & Garden Cottage was prepared for ours. Lots of things to make our stay great from the start were thought of: temporary dog tags to put on our dogs in case they got lost, dog poo bags, a jar full of dog biscuit treats, blankets, bowls & balls to play with. The garden was very secure & a great space to play with our dogs. For us humans Garden Cottage was lovely: rhere was a generous & thoughtful box of provisions to help us including some delicious locally produced milk & apple juice, The standard of decor was excellent & it was pristine in every aspect. There was no chipped paint, grey grouting on tiles or worn furniture. It was bright & airy. The kitchen worked very well & the oven was super efficient as well as the hot plates. There was a constant supply of hot water with good pressre. There is a good sized fridge & freezer. The grounds of the complex are kept in very good condition. Our bed was really comfortable with a firmer mattress which we like. Plenty of wardrobe space allocated for both the double & single room. It was so peaceful & restful when we went & all we could hear were rural sounds. We werent there during school holidays. We will go back again.

We are a walking group of 28 and have been staying at Eaton Manor for some years. We hire a number of the properties - all excellent, and use outside caterers for our evening meal. Nichola and here team are a pleasure to deal with. The houses are always immaculately prepared and we enjoy the complimentary wine, tea, milk and biscuits after a long journey!

We stayed in Pendennis over last weekend. Our stay was most successful for various ages from teenager to 80 year old. This particularly applied to my severely disabled son in law who needed accommodation all on one level floor. Our party enjoyed the variety of activities available and the views over the valley were beautiful. We chose the services of an outside chef for our main birthday celebration and the staff and the food were excellent. I did not have any experience of holidaying in Shropshire and would definitely return again.

We found Pendennis very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. Also the welcome pack was exceptional and everyone enjoyed their stay. The views and surrounding country-side were stunning - even on a rainy day. Our party ranged from 9 - 74 years. We all enjoyed the 'Games Barn' - there is so much to do and we would definitely recommend Eaton Manor and look forward to returning in the future. We would also like you to pass on our thanks to the 'Archery Coach' - everyone enjoyed the session and we felt he went the extra mile to make the experience very special. He was such a kind and patient person - a good time was had by all.

The accommodation was first class, a lovely box of goodies and bottle of wine awaited us. The gardens were lovely to sit out in and the Games Barn kept us all entertained. Ideally placed for walking up to Wenlock Edge.

Eaton Manor is a perfect holiday for families with dogs. It has everything we needed, a secure enclosed garden for our escape artist beagle, swimming everyday and an amazing games barn for our toddler. The cottage was perfection, with every tiny detail thought of. For example, everything was provided for us to have a BBQ, Our dog was provided with a holiday tag and a basket of essentials, on arrival there was a range of goodies for us all locally sourced. Also, the superking bed was heaven!

Perfect location for my sons wedding, Church Stretton not to far either, however car is needed. Excellent facilities and standard of hygiene was extremely high. We stayed in the Manor House and my niece was in a cottage and all the family were really impressed. Lovely welcome pack which had a variety of items, from coffe, tea, juice fresh milk, biscuits and cleaning products also supplied. We took two dogs who were also provided with a welcome pack and supplied a tag just in case the happened to wander off. Staff stoped to say hello and check all was alright. Children enjoyed using the pool and all the other activities and had freedom. An extremely lovely stay and will be looking to return in the future.

The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. Dogs more than welcome. A lovely country estate in a very peaceful setting. Good facilities on site. Good laminated maps/walking guides in the property. Would have liked tourist leaflets and information but I think they were removed since covid.

Ten of us enjoyed a peaceful few days at this lovely bungalow. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the kitchen fully equipped, the surrounding views were beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone. We went on lovely local walks and enjoyed exploring the estate too. The huge wet rooms in Pendennis were a bonus and we had great fun in the little swimming pool next door. The games room was also super. It was great to be able to bring our dog and the welcome packs were much appreciated. It was perfect for my father who is reliant upon a walking frame. We would certainly return.

We took a last minute trip here for Easter weekend and what a delight it was from start to finish. Beautiful surroundings, quite and peaceful, Cottages were to a very, very high standard with a lovely garden and BBQ (which we weren't expecting). They had thought of everything, including a little dog tag to pop of our pups collar in case she got lost and an Easter egg hunt for our daughter, fresh milk from the local dairy and even coffee and tea sourced locally. Everything was perfect and just what we needed.

We stayed in woodpecker way April 2022 and enjoyed a relaxing visit. On arrival we found fresh local milk, tea and coffee supplies. When we read the welcome pack we found the glass milk bottle could be refilled at a farm down the road, who also had an outdoor milkshake bar. Mostly we come for the archery range as we are both keen archers and can get sight marks before season. However, the local villages are delightful and there are many easy walks taking in the wonderful countryside. Woods? brewery and now the milkshake bar will always be on our list of to dos. There are many more activities to get involved in if you wish, but we enjoy our peaceful stay in this unspoilt part of England. The cottage has a washer drier meaning you don?t have to take home dirty laundry as the first job on arriving home! You are well supplied with washing pods for the dish washer and laundry. The bath is deep and good quality, retaining heat well for a long soak after a days activities. A bbq is set up with lighters and charcoal ready to use, perfect for steaks from the local far, shop.
