Beautiful old country pub nestled in the heart of Shropshire, lovely food and friendly service. Called in during a walk across the long mynd for lunch and was warmed by a fire and a really good mocha coffee. We all ordered an omelette as it would be a light meal for the second half of the walk. Dogs are very welcome as are children.

Staying half a mile away, we walked across flooded byroads to get here for our fabulous dinner 2 nights running. Locals are so fortunate to have this excellent pub.
