We visit here every now and then for breakfast. It's a cosy cafe which is tastefully decorated. The breakfast is excellent and, with a pot of tea, comes to roughly £10. This is a good breakfast and includes toast and marmalade. Lovely staff who are friendly and very prompt. Highly recommended!

Beware??
Got ripped off with price of full English today, 24/2 about 11:15am.
Also the cook who I think was boss had the rudest attitude I?ve ever come across, she was very stone faced with absolutely no customer services skills and even gave the nice lady who took my money a dressing down In front of customers. Disgraceful
And to make matters worse, came home with a take away cake and it was stale?
Won?t be going there again, even if the food was being given away.

The coffee picture that this business posted on here appears to a stock photo. Excited to meet family here for coffee but this is what I received as a flat white. Off taste, watery and undrinkable unfortunately.

My sister and I popped into the Whitburn, as we usually do for lunch when we're in town. I normally have either bacon and mushoom baguette or bacon and cheese on toast. Today i was asked how many slices of bacon i wanted, i was surprised because i've never been asked before. I usually order and pay. The blonde cook said its £1 per slice (rasher) so i mentioned i've never been asked before so she says again its £1 per slice. If the prices have gone up why don't they just change the prices on the menu card not try and make customers look like theyre stupid. How do i know how much bacon fills up a baguette, for a sandwich i'd say 3 or 4. I've been in there enough times to know i've never been asked how much bacon i want. With the sandwich was a big side salad which i left. We have never had a large salad with it before and i've never had salad at all when i've had the baguette. I always tell people how nice it is in there but perhaps its time for us to try elsewhere. Its not nice to 'pretend' you've always asked how many slices of bacon customers want.

I used Whitburn Coffee House for ordering individual buffet boxes for a Xmas get together. Value for money but more importantly really fresh lovely flavours and variation in each ( ordered 40 boxes) box. Top marks for this place.
