Glasses too expensive when you are being spoken to you about cost there is no privacy and its all embarrassing and you don't realise what you have been talked into, also the second air had to be returned as I could not seeproperly with them the tried new lenses which they charged me another £40 not happy will never return neither will my partner

Called into shop today 18.7.25 to choose new glasses. The shop had no one in. I was disgusted how dirty the glasses were. Greasy fingerprints all over the glass. How are you supposed to see yourself. Surely when not busy, glasses should be cleaned. Went elsewhere to purchase my new pair.

The director of the store is appallingly dismissive and condescending at best. After her store had referred my mother to have her cataracts operated on and booked her in for her post-op 5 week check up she then refused to do the check on the grounds that the surgery was done under funding from another NHS ICB. When questioned on why the store offer the option of hospitals that are under other NHS trusts and challengers on the duty of care that her store should have to an older woman who is a full time carer and lives within the town, the director-Theresa Hughes- stated that NHS funding and rules are there and suggested that we ?switch on the news? more!
I strongly advise that you think twice before accepting any treatment from this store and make sure that you ask for clarity on any decisions you are asked to make.

I lost a part of my spectacles (screw from the lenses to the frame). I visited the Bridgnorth Specsavers for a replacement screw to purchase. I was told by the gentleman at the counter that if I hadn?t purchased them from Specsavers they couldn?t sell me the part or replace it or repair the spectacles. I popped next door to Biddle +Liage opticians who replaced it free of charge within the hour although I hadn?t purchased the spectacles from there either. I know where I will be having my eyes tested and new spectacles from next time. The service and friendly approach at Biddle + Liage was excellent.

Very friendly team and the optician Theresa is the best and takes time to explain the eye test results

Two years had passed since my last eye test and I knew I needed new glasses. The Optician and all the staff were very friendly and helpful in the ?full eye test? and selection of two new pairs of glasses. Hopefully I?ll be back again in two years time.?

I've had to visit the store several times recently after losing my new glasses days after getting them. Each time the staff were great, even when they were busy they always acknowledged me when I entered and were very helpful when I asked for advise on which pair to get.

I do love Specsavers but why are they so expensive
their service is brilliant with staff being excellent
Unfortunatley I had to leave with no new lens in my old frames because I couldn?t afford the 130 poundsxx

First time I visited specsavers walking in the receptionist was lovely took my details was polite and well informative took a seat then shortly after went into the room was met by a aggressive optometrist, I put my chin on the holder and she kept pushing the eye machine into my eye lids then as this was causing me a bit of anxiety I moved back and she kept saying move your head as close as possible, when she said look left and right I slightly turned my head and she said aggressively not your head just your eyes, she wasn't professional and not supportive, she gave me no proper advice other than more exercises on the eyes or eye surgery no mention of glasses or eye patches as the NHS website states.
Private eye examination for £25.00 paid.
On the other hand all the other women that I spoke to today were helpful I just wish I had them instead of Teresa.
Please teach her to be more supportive especially towards anxious patients.
Thank you!
