Came to Bishop's Castle for a holiday a few months ago in June and ended up drinking at the Castle Hotel quite a few times as it's easily the best pub there! Only one open half the week lol.
The view from the garden of the town is simply spectacular! You have to go outside and see it.

The manager was so kind and squeezed our family of four in for a quick lunch on Sunday without a reservation at 1pm before she needed the table back at 2pm.
