My husband and I stopped for a bite and a drink and decided to stay for lunch.
Delicious tuna dish, with well presented and fresh vegetables as well as the ham and chips, which was also excellent.

Exceptional value for money , enormous portions with corresponding quality food and delicious flavours. Staff are superb. This is an eatery that should be visited.

Lovely staff and service was good. We were told when we got there, that there was a wait for food but no longer than I would expect for fresh cooked food. Allowed to sit in the bar area with dog and it was as comfortable as the rest of the pub.

Had 'small plates' menu, scampi & chips, came with salad. Nice filling portion, tasty and well worth the money. Hard to rate the atmosphere as relatively quiet at the time.

Literally just had a fabulous lunch here all four of us couldn't fault anything about our food. The triple cooked chips are the best I've ever had.The staff were lovely too. Thank you.

It's been a while since we've visited the Royal Oak, and I have to say we were blown away. James, Rachel, and the team have done wonders. The bar area and staff were welcoming and served a great range of draught beer and cider. We were shown to our table in the beautiful bright restaurant and shown the specials. Our waiter was friendly and very accommodating.
Now to the food! Holy cheese balls!! Every meal was served beautifully and had the taste buds bouncing from the visual and smell alone. All five of us ordered something different, and we all thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful.
We will be back!

What a find! Happened to call in here for some lunch, totally random, never heard of it before.
But WOW!, food was excellent, reasonably priced, service totally on point and ambience beautiful.
I cannot recommend this place enough, and from not knowing it existed 12 hours ago I am definately going back!

We visited for Sunday lunch today and in spite of the heat all five of us chose a roast which was huge and very delicous.

Very good mixed grill, quality meat products. 9/10 Next time If anything would ask not to have the garlic and peppers base. Without the garlic, not mentioned in the ingredients. a 10/10

Arranged a birthday party for approx.70 people which was brilliant! The buffet was good and all our guests really enjoyed thei. Nohing was too much trouble for Stacey and her 'team' - they helped with the decorations and set-up beforehand, served us all evening & were still smiling as they waved us off at the end of the night.
