This is how a pub should be. Clean and tidy and barstaff alert and serve in order. Usual Black Country beers with guests. Only slight niggle was that there were several light and golden beers but no amber bitter apart posssibly from a 5% abv one which is a bit too strong for pre dinner! The Black Country BFG however was excellent. Temperature just right in clean glass and went down very well. Competitive too at £4 (I think). Toilets clean and a garden for those who want it. It would be great to be able to walk there!

Brilliant spot for a nice drink!
Dog friendly.
Sometimes do hot pork sandwiches which was lovely with a pint. Would recommend and will return!

Great choice of real ales. All the ones sampled were well kept and I have no doubt that the others are kept well too.
Complimentary snacks were available during our visit (Sunday lunchtime).
Well worth a visit.
