I was disappointed by the difficulty in getting an appointment with the doctor, and there is a prolonged wait for any kind of response. Moreover, the medical knowledge of both the doctors and the staff is abysmal.

Absolute disgrace! Very first visit I had with Dr dear and all he did was argue with me that my height and weight were different to what I had assumed and prescriptions are never where they are expected to be and as for the receptionists! Talk about rude! Only saving grace is Dr Anderson!

Well what can i say about this practice (Dr Dear) not much really!! the Doctor is very unprofessional its more like you go aboard and have to get a back ally doctor to get advise he was very stubborn and dressed terrible Ripped old t-shirt and track suite bottoms ,would not help with my issue i was having, just wanting to cause a argument ,I toke his advise previously and told him it didn't do any good what he had suggested and i think he might have been a fended by this, I said its very difficult to get an appointment and he replied (am I not entitled to a holiday!) and every time I was trying to say how i was feeling he kept going back to the appointment situation as if he wanting to argue all the way through the meeting ,now i am no where forward with my issues At the end of the meeting I was told to get another doctor he was no longer helping me. If i could give no stars i would!!

Been a sufferer of Major Depression for 25 years and went to see this guy as I felt I was having a relapse. As soon as I opened the door, he asked me what he could do for me in a hurried way, before I had closed the door! His only real interest was to take me off my tablets!!! and see how I managed without them and even though I explained I had taken the present pills for 3 years and they had worked well, he wasnt prepared to listen and said "I put the relapse down to you now being in your 50s, women on the wrong side of 50, often take strange turns!" When I explained I had been suffering from this illness most of my adult life, he shouted, "Why didnt you say that in the beginning!"What a thoughtless and ignorant man, his only interest was saving his Practice money and patronising a Female patient, always an easy option. He loves ticking boxes, so the Practice receives more money, but appalling Patient Care. I have visited one of his partners, Dr Begg and she is delightful, which I guess that is why you have to wait to get an appointment with her.
