It's the usual Asda fare throughout the store.
Staff are helpful but the store is not always kept tidy. Surroundings are littered.

Click n collect is really hit n miss. Most staff are friendly apart from one cashier who never smiles (black hair). Very grumpy with everyone. Argued with me Infront of others because she couldn't see how she had over charged me (didn't process a coupon properly). Had to take It to customer services where they sorted it. Not a great range compared to other stores but ok for wee bits n bobs. One manned checkout at times which can be annoying.

Totally disgusted with Asda Newmains tonight. Went in to get the valentines meal deal, advertised with wine. Got told oh no its only soft drinks, I pointed out the posters, with wine on them. They then babbled something about licensing laws, then they eventually said that all the wine, cava etc on the deal was sold out and they would be getting no more in. Total disappointment!

Nice store. Not as big as other Asdas but had most of the things our family needed.
Wanted other brand of coconut (Aroy D) but overall impressive stock levels given it?s a relatively smaller store and it?s clean.

Click and collect point every time I arrive here the mess of the place is out of control bird droppings all over the place under the canopy when collections are supposed to be collected. Food and bird droppings should not come into contact with each other in my opinion I brought this up to the manager and was told this will be rectified let?s see if it will as it truly is disgusting
Second problem always waiting ages 30 minutes or so and made feel like it?s our fault every car was the same that arrived asked to call a number press this number press that number then put on hold then somone arrives mid call ?
I have a time slot please have staff look at the slotted times or camera like Hamilton or any other Asda
The girl bringing the groceries out was polite and helpful enough. I would like to see some changes made

Using the Scan and go on phone for first time. This isn?t the greatest of stores at the best of time! Empty shelves, untidy and hardly ever a checkout open or self scan checkouts have no bags or an item wouldn?t scan hence using Scan and go. All going well until I got to the self scan checkout. Because it?s my first time using it I get a security check on random items. No issue with this. My issue was the young member of staff managing the self scan. Not happy that I had to interrupt his conversation with another staff member, but to then proceed to tell me ?for your sake this better be ok? the look I gave him caused him to try and explain that for my sake and his he hopes the check will be ok, otherwise we have to rescan the whole shopping and that takes up his time and mine!! Pathetic customer service. I won?t be back!!!

Waiting to get help at self service as this was all that was open at 6.30am.
Got my fruit and meal for work.
2 bits of loose fruit.
Couldn't find apples on the screen, asked for help the girl said we don't sell loose apples took it of me and removed the crate from the shelf ?
Manners weren't the best either.
