Bought this watch and was a complete con like a £2 penny pusher machine watch that you win out a 2p pusher machine on the sea front gave a good review once a couple of days went by then the watch started to peel the colour off the strap and turn my wrist green tried to change review and can?t also can?t complain on the site or get a way to contact them over this or leave a comment or anything about it anywhere feel ripped off thought it was good for about a week till wrist went green and the colour peeled off a lot of the strap

Bought a product online to collect in store, sent my partner and father to collect as it was a large chest freezer and I would never be able to lift/carry never mind fit in my car. Provided my partner with not only the confirmation email, collection details but also my driving licence and bank card. They refused to give him it, stating I had to be there and it wasn?t their problem, that it stipulated this in the email. It did not, the email says to provide an in date form of ID that matches the name on the argos card - no where on this email does it state that I must be present. And even if this were the case a simple explanation would have went a long way. Rather than the ?lovely? (and I use that term loosely) female colleague stating it was not her problem whilst screwing her face up into something less than appealing. The store manager kindly ?backed up his pal?, advising those were the rules and nothing they could do about it. The email does not say this and I confirmed with a follow up call to the customer service number on the back of the receipt, who also advised if my partner had the email alongside my ID there is no reason why he could not collect it. It appears wishaw argos like to be a force of their own, acting the jobsworth and employing customer service colleagues, who wouldn?t know the definition of service if it hit them in the face. A disgusting encounter that never should have happened, again backed up by their own customer service telephone line (which was provided by the store manager btw). So, I?d love to know who is lying the Wishaw store or their customer service number, and considering I have had others collect my items on my behalf previously from the Hamilton store, I think Wishaw wins that one.

Bought a laptop from Argos 2 years ago. Since the very beginning the laptop was extremely slow. I changed the broadband thinking it should speed the laptop up. I did not help and the laptop still was slow. After going through it and seeing what?s actually inside I was shocked when I found that the laptop is loaded with someone?s files (movies, personal information, bank details etc). Someone bought it and returned it. Argos never checked it and resold it. I contacted customer services and they did nothing even though I have the receipt. Be careful what you buy and return as Argos is selling your private data without your permission. I will contact the person whose laptop I have and ask them if they want their files back!

Will never buy anything from this place again bought a cooker did not even have it fitted the door came off 1 end told on phone to get it fitted as i had no cooker and there was not a replacement in stock told i would be phoned back never happened phoned them again to be told i should have not got it fitted as now they would not repair it and would have to wait for a replacement or get ifix myself beyond a joke i bought the cooker on line and it was only delivered on monday
