Excellent food in very pleasant surroundings. Wide range of choices for every taste, including vegetarian options. Comfortable atmosphere and excellent service, catering for all tastes. Away from the bustle of the town, but within a short drive. Good parking and open views of the landscape with horses close by. ?

We had such a fun experience visiting Puldagon on our North Coast 500 tour! It?s a fantastic family-owned farm with a restaurant and farm shop full of locally produced goodies. The food was incredible, staff just wonderful, and we had a blast wandering around looking at all the hairy coos and petting their sweet little farm cat haha! Puldagon has been owned and worked by the same family since the 1920s - it?s a gorgeous farm in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands and we just loved our time there! It?s very remote and very far north - we were lucky to visit during our North Coast 500 tour with a local, eco-friendly small-group tour (with Rabbies) that focus on supporting local businesses. Our tour guide reserved a table for our group here for lunch and it was phenomenal!! They have quite a large menu and also daily specials. My hubby got the spicy chicken wings which were delicious - had a perfect kick to them and were cooked wonderfully. It came with fries and salad. Now - I adore all creatures - big and small - and while I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all their adorable Highland Cows, I still couldn?t resist trying their Highland Burger - which is made from their own cattle here at the farm. Highland beef is famous for being amazing and I just had to try it - it certainly lived up to its reputation- it was a fabulous burger! It also comes with fries and salad - highly recommend (if you?re not squeamish about things like that lol)! Prices are reasonable here and the gift shop has so many interesting local offerings - definitely worth a browse. After lunch be sure to have a nice walk around - it?s fun to see all the animals - especially the cute cows! But keep in mind that it is very much a working farm and they don?t allow access to the animals for petting/interactions without permission. They also have a very sweet farm cat - very friendly and definitely won?t hesitate to beg you for a bite of your lunch haha!! It?s a restaurant sure, but it felt like eating at a family?s home - we met one of the owners - we felt so welcome! Fabulous people and fantastic food! We feel very lucky to have had the chance to visit!

Lovely farm and amazing staff. We visited at half past 3 pm and had a little time to go through the gift shop and found really nice items to buy. We got a chance to meet Farm horses who were really friendly and happy for us to stay around and get petting. The place is away from city's hustle and in an nice open place with ample of parking and sitting place in cafe. Recommended to visit when you are around.

1st class food and excellent customer service. Stopped in for lunch today and the staff made us feel very welcome. Both the chicken and the Puldagon burgers we had were super tasty and we would highly recommend trying them.Nice, clean farm shop with plenty of choice too.Very unassuming place from the roadside with little signage but so glad we stopped in. Will definitely return again.

We stopped for lunch here on a beautiful, warm, sunny day. Lovely choice on the menu and the quirky cauliflower dish was delicious. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. And excellent value. Throughly recommend eating here.

We ate lunch here today. I wish we had tried it earlier in our break. The food was really special and the waitress was lovely. What a nice young woman. We had fish and chips and the Moroccan lamb. Simply delicious. The Eton mess and the sticky toffee pudding were wonderful too. Such a great find.

Beautiful location. Spotlessly clean. Good selection on the menu with some quirky specials you won't get elsewhere. Staff polite and attentive. Food presentation and tast was amazing. The farm animals and setting a wonderfull bonus. Love the Highland Coos. Thoroughly enjoyable experience every time.

This really is a lovely place, with wonderful helpful staff, and amazing views. But it is badly let down by the food. The tomato soup resembled a tin of chopped tomatoes with undercooked carrots. The cullen skink was watery, with undercooked potatoes, and very little haddock (and at £8.50 a time, it needs to be so much better). We decided not to have anything else. We really wanted to like this place, but there are many better places to eat in the Wick area.

What an absolute gem of a place!! Not only an amazing lunch with the very best service (my husband said it's the BEST burger he has had while visiting Scotland) but also the beauty of the place, a lovely wee shop with lots of treats, the animals are a joy to see for kids and adults alike, the horses all came over for a wee nose and a pet. The new salon and barn would make for an amazing party space and the atmosphere and scenery are incredible. By far the BEST lunch we've had in the Highlands.
