Central location. Street parking. Bistro Bar restaurant entered from shortest street in the world. Bistro Bar is modern and busy and associated dining room is more traditional and spacous. Very helpful friendly staff and excellent food using local produce.Best meal yet in November 2023. Superb!New kitchen team have cracked it.Still great February 2024.

We only ate here, and it was delicious. The staff were very chatty and efficient. They could afford to give a few more peas, not sure why one of your 5 a day are served in the tiniest of ramekins (about 16 peas) ?

Seems to sum up Wick really. Tired and dated, smelt of chip fat up the stairs, small rooms, toilet dirty and hadn?t been cleaned properly, owner?s dog growled aggressively at any dog who walked in, staff weren?t massively helpful. Wick itself is a tired, desolate and forgotten place and this hotel is a fairly depressing experience.

Nice family run hotel with comfortable rooms and a pleasant restaurant. A good overnight stop in a sadly care-worn town. The owners made us welcome. The restaurant was good. The food well cooked, presented and served. A good stop on the starting leg of the NC500.

Comfortable room, very pleasant staff always available. Price was very competitive. The location is central to the town and the hotel sits on the smallest street in the country (possibly the world0 - what's not to like?

I've given a 3 star today feeling my review might be fair. So my husband booked this trip for us to stay in an apartment, asked for a ground floor as I do have mobility issues. We got told its on 1st floor. So we agreed as I do do 1 flight at home with a struggle. On checking the owners greeted us, then she said its 3rd floor. OK not happy that we have traveled many many miles to get here. They did try to accommodate by putting us in a cottage. The beds aren't comfy, the kitchen smelt of burning which was traveling downstairs, 1 sofa sinks when you sit on it, flies (not many) but they are there, to this felt disappointed, in the end we checked out to be told non refundable. I get that, if there wasn't a mistake on their part, they could of given a good will gesture considering its moto is a hotel with a heart. Now we are traveling back and staying at inverness as theres non available in wick. I get she tried her best but on the otherhand could of given us a goodwill.UPDATE - I was a bit hasty in saying no refund. We actually got the refund, so I've updated my review stars to 4.
