Popped in for a drink and ended up staying all night. Great atmosphere and very friendly people.
Definitely worth a visit.

A premiere vu l?Hôtel est vieillot mais quand tu es à l?intérieur, on est vraiment bien accueilli même quand on a du mal à parler anglais

No stars
The good reviews must surely be fake.
The place stinks of damp
Its dirty and old, damp and miserable
Windows filthy and in desperate need of repair everything is old and dated. The bedding was thin and well worn
A mucky grey blanket on the bed. Yuk.
Toilet dirty and yellow smelled awful smelly pubes all over.
The smell of the stair carpet make me feel ill
We did not stay. We booked in near by and had a clean and spotless room
We had already decided if no other hotel available we would sleep in the car
Do yourself a favour and skip this hotel its grotty and unpleasant. We booked it as a cheap and cheerful. Our mistake.

My partner and I stayed here during our NC500 trip. It was reasonably priced, easy to find, and had all the amenities we needed. We had a double room with a private bathroom.
The place itself looks dated and in need of renovation, but the room was clean and comfy. Thankfully, the bar wasn't open the night we stayed, so we had a restful sleep.
My only nit pick is that the private bathroom was accessed by walking through a landing where other guests could go, meaning you couldn't just nip to the loo in the night without putting something on, and for me (who sleeps completely naked) that meant fumbling around in the dark so I could put a top on so I didn't wake my partner.

Very friendly barmaid! The local cider she recommended, brewed in a whiskey barrel, was very tasty and the taxi she called for us was very correct! Pool table, where those present had a lot of fun.
Parking: Parking in front of the door is not possible

A hidden gem! Unprepossesing exterior, but upstairs, inside the room was bright and clean as a whistle. Callum the host was most helpful, giving us advice on where to go for dinner(Spice Tandoori-excellent!) and breakfast( Morag's-also excellent!)
There was also a good ceilidh band in the bar! Can recommend+++

We booked a twin room. It is really nice and cozy. Owner is very friendly and showed lots of places to visit nearby. If you are having a stop in wick this is the best place to choose!!

We really enjoyed our visit to Camps Bar for curry club and were delighted with the food. All 8 of us (4 adults, 4 children, including vegetarians) had curry, rice, nan bread, poppadom and a drink and came away with change of £50. The food was hot, delicious and served quickly. The staff were absolutely lovely. I really look forward to our next visit.

Probably the worst bar I have been in. Arrived at 8.30, it had only opened at 8 and it was freezing. Sent the first two pints of Tennants back as they were awful. Was told they only open at weekends so suspect the pints had been lying in the system for a week. The replacements were just as bad. Couldn't drink them. To be honest. I'd give it a miss.

As they say, it?s the oldest pub in Wick, now fully renovated. I prefer older style pubs personally, but it?s really good and has good choice of beers!

I had the worst pint of Tennents ever here, absolutely awful. Switched to bottled beer. Was going to go back after our meal but the bar was closed by 10pm whilst advertising being open until 11pm.

My partner and I stopped in on the last night of out nc500 lap and could not have finished of the trip any better. We arrived a little curious about the exterior but once greeted inside we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and felt like we were meeting old friends rather then making new ones. Vicky first greeted us at the bar and took us upstairs towards the room and to meet our host Callum. He could not have been a more welcoming and comforting bloke if he tried. We checked in and headed to the bar for a beer after a big day. Vicky was great and we threw conversation back and forth all night while inviting us to finish our takeaway downstairs with a pint. Despite a few older reviews I could not stress this accommodation enough, We had the wicks room with a great view of the bridge and everything was super tidy and organised. Thanks again!Parking: Easy free parking directly across the road
