Booked a table Saturday 28/12/2024 , the staff were friendly enough but the menu was limited because of delivery issues !!
My my girlfriend and I went for two courses, which was £19.99 each, we both went for chicken breasts with peppercorn sauce, chips & seasonal veg.
We weren't guaranteed chips as we were notified if chips were available we could have chips , fortunately we got chips , the chicken breast wss ok , the peppercorn sauce was watery, and the vegetables were hard and we both left them untouched on the plate. We had a bottle of wine and ordered a whiskey for myself and a cosmopolitan cocktail for my girlfriend.
We were both gobsmacked when the cocktail arrived at our table in a PLASTIC glass .
The bill was £71.75 , I wish we didn't bother heading to bar one 0 eight as this was a real letdown, and it was something we were both looking forward to.
I, for one, will certainly not be rushing back, and I'm gutted. I wasted my hard earned money on this .
I can go a mile up the road and get real quality food and service for the same as my bill at one 0 eight, which is real value for money .
I was too upset last night to do a review as I felt I just got mugged.

After waiting for a while (about 15 minutes), we got up and asked the counter if we had to order at the counter. A short while later the waitress came to the table and seemed annoyed that she had to serve guests.
The burgers arrived within minutes of ordering. The look is a bit dull but ok. However, the burger overall gave the impression of being a supermarket pre-made burger from the microwave. Really not recommended. The meat wasn't always warm either, it was partly hot and partly still cold. This also speaks for the microwave.
I wouldn't eat here again.

My sister took me out to dinner last Friday, we came here as we've been a few times before, the food was quite bad reheats at best, not a great experience i ate my dinner because i didn't want to upset my sister, she has since spoken to management who have offered her to go back and get another dinner on the house, hopfully that will be better P.S my sister did say to the waitress that the food wasn't very good she replied " I'll let them know" but that was that!
