Our first time visiting this zoo, it was brilliant. There was so much to see and do. Plenty of amazing animals we had a great day out. Well worth the money.

The zoo feels extremely run down. Christmas lights and decorations everywhere, it really made the entire place feel messy and unorganised. The first part and the castle zoo is really quite good with all the animals, the further you walk, the more run down it feels. Hardly any of the vendors open that are 'seasonal'. I would have thought summer holidays would be one of the busiest times and considered seasonal. Would not go back to be honest.

Poor service and place felt very messy, chaotic and lots of animals still locked in cages until talk times.

Great day out for the family! Fantastic that the animals are rescues, well maintained zoo, helpful staff. Cafe food was really good and the soft play was enjoyed by my 9yr daughter :)

Compact zoom with lots of animals to see. Indoor spaces like the reptile house is idea if it is raining. I'd recommend hitting the cafe before taking a stroll around the exhibits. There were tonnes of fairy lights strung up, so I imagine it is amazing in the winter!

What an absolute amazing to visit to the zoo with my family. Such a diverse range of animals and a really cosy family feel to the whole park. From the you youngest to the eldest of our party we were all kept engaged and entertained for hours. We will definitely be back.

Not the easiest of places to get to however not to bad if using sat nav its definitely worth the £21 entrance fee good to see all the different animals crocodiles, bears, lions ,cheetahs ,artic wolves, wallabies, snakes, monkeys different birds, meerkats penguins ,reindeer, highland cows etc ,etc a fair bit of walking to do as the zoo is pretty big , the only disappointment was there wasn't many places where you could get something to eat or drink as you where going around the zoo ( could have done with juice or water when walking) plenty of tables to have a picnic ,and plenty of benches around the zoo to stop and have a rest overall this is a very well run zoo and brilliant value compared to what you would get at a safari park ( i would recommend the zoo over the safari park)

Love the Five Sisters Zoo. They continue to help and support animals and we loved the new enclosure for the cheethas.

Having visited this zoo before Covid I was really disappointed by what I found this time around. It?s eerie, looks run down and is full of Christmas lights/decorations like some dystopian nightmare. A good few of the enclosures were empty (some dating back to 2020) and many of the occupied ones seemed too small for the animals inside.
The whole place felt uncared for and sadly unethical.
