Flat white coffee was basically like hot milk with hint of coffee flavor. Club sandwich took 1 hour to make, traffic wasn't crazy. Bread was dry and whole sandwich relatively flavorless. Would only recommend of you want a coffee and cake that is already ready. Not worth the wait for anything else.

Fabulous coffee shop that does breakfast and lunch options. The food is of a great standard, the bread rolls are fresh the duck eggs are straight from the farm and the staff are super friendly. Definitely worth visiting.

Simple tasty food, but if they stepped it up a little and created something akin to the innerleithen coffee shops, it could be awesome. Some avocado and salmon on the menu would be nice, but maybe that's just me ?

Called here today on way back from Peebles , service was very slow even though the place was nearly empty ,our hot drinks were brought out and we had actually finished them by the time our measly flat toasties were brought to us 20 minutes later , to say we were charged £7.50 each for them was a rip off .
Felt the radiator that we were sat next to with the back of my hand (as was cold outside) it wasn?t on , but what disgusted me was the fact that it was so dirty my hand stuck to it .
Won?t be coming here again .

It's OK. Didn't eat any cooked food so can't judge that. Had cake and that was fine. Decaf coffee taste was poor. I think poor batista skills, tainted / poor stcrage / old coffee. Can't judge non-decaf so don't avoid regular coffee based on my decaff experience. Cafe interior - overdue a deep clean, repaint, refurbishment. It's looking tired Toilet facilities are similarly needed attention. Unfortunately they're the only cafe in town. Until they sort things out with the decor I'd say head to Innerleithen and enjoy a much better choice and experience all around.

Really nice place to stop off on our bike ride, to be fair we were a large group and it took a while for us to get everything, that being said it is a lovely place to relax in and enjoy the atmosphere, will be back
