Disappointing. The food was mediocre at best, sausage & mash was below par with cold processed tasting mash, however the fish and chips were good. Service was slow but friendly. There was a hidden 10% service charge which wasn?t highlighted anywhere, first we were aware of it was after payment. Drinks were expensive, as was the food for what it was. Would not return, particularity aggrieved by the service charge, had I wanted to tip I would have done.

3 battered sausages, 1 large chips and two haddock burgers cost £50 here. The same at home (London) we get for £30. Food was nice to be fair but the chips portions are incredibly stingy, a large chips looks smaller than a small and the chips with my £13 haddock burger wouldn?t feed a child. Wouldn?t return or recommend stopping here just based on the poor value.

A fabulous man eal served with efficiency and a friendly smile ? We had two courses as there was a two courses deal on...but we could've had just a starter as the cullen skink was both filling and very tasty! ? Now for a long walk to help with the calories!!!!!??

Very disappointing takeaway fish and chips. Both the fish and chips were extremely greasy and oil-filled. At £13 per portion, it felt very overpriced for the poor quality. We phoned to express our disappointment ? they apologised, but that was it.

This visit was not what I?ve had in the past . We hadn?t booked so were given stable outside . Nice evening and enclosed space . As we had dined her over the years ,visiting Ullapool . Was looking forward to having an enjoyable dinner. Sadly disappointing experience.
We were not shown to the table just told that one ? You could have stuck everything to the table . It was sticky, dirty and the smell of dog urine was overpowering. Not exactly hygienic for serving food !
Service was friendly and informed of soup , special and apologies for certain items not being available . Then it came to ordering ?
Felt like we were being pushed to have the mushy peas , even thought I replied politely and explained we didn?t want them several times. Little respect on the servers part should have been ?not a problem ? instead they kept saying to have them ! No thanks , if I politely request no mushy peas , I do not want someone then telling me have them .
Lastly adding gratuity to your bill automatically is not acceptable. We live in Great Britain ,Scotland where minimum wage and living wage standards are good . A tip is for excellent or exceptional service and is at the bill payers discretion! Plus being at a dirty smelly table and feeling uncomfortable about not wanting mushy peas ,it was plain rude to automatically add a gratuity to a bill . Then made to feel uncomfortable about removing it . Cannot pay in cash which I prefer to do , no signs or indications that it?s card only !
Only plus was the good food itself . Which next time we will get from there take away part of the business as seafood served is the same as menu . Why 5 stars for food only . Disappointed as used to love our visits to this establishment over the years .

They had a visiting singer from Stirling playing in the outdoor conservatory area. The music was loud but you could still talk quite easily. He was extremely good with a good playlist that got everyone going. He was enthusiastically applauded after every song. Indoors was quieter if this is what you would prefer. Service was excellent.

Cullen sink was outstanding however the fish and chips was disappointing, the batter was far too oily. Hence, the 3 stars.

Popped in for some lunch with my wife and 4 children. The food was great. The service was excellent. So attentive and professional. Well done Seaforth.

food very very average, and way way too expensive for what it is
seemed to cater for coach parties who they can rip off and will never return anyway

I arrived just as a tour bus was unloading and even though I was a solo diner the host took me to a table immediately, the service was friendly and prompt, and the prawn curry was outstanding!

We had Fish and Chips and the Seabass and the food tasted great. Sadly the table was sticky but it was manageable.
