It is my favourite spot for a coffee and a bite every time I drive for weddings in Isle of Skye or up north. Lovely staff, nice atmosphere and always interesting people to talk to. Coffee is fab and I'm a little obsessed with their sweet treats to.

Stopped here after a lengthy detour when the A87 was closed. Despite the place being busy and having food on the counter, the girl serving announced they were closed - at 15.08 on a Saturday afternoon. Very poor show. This is the sort of service that shouldn?t exist in Scotland.

I have used this cafe loads when I'm west on my motorbike throughout the year. It's amazing that you are able to keep it open being so far from anywhere. Hopefully will see you fully open and delivering a great service again. Good luck.

We took a detour to go there because it?s says open in google maps. Shop was closed while their add in Google says open. If you are not going to open , update your opening hours in Google Maps. It?s an isolated area amd people count on the public information to access and visit places. It takes no effort to do it.

The owner is grumpy and wasn?t happy to offer us a table. We drive extra 40 minutes for the food because my brother has been there earlier a dozen times. But there?s no food anymore, only stale cakes and coffee. Go for those if you want days old brownie and cakes. Grump alert!

The place used to be amazing 10/10. We drove all the way for this and so disappointed.
No food anymore . Owner told he fired all the staff and it?s only going to be coffee a shop now . There were only brownies and cakes very old and stale, likely shop bought. No more nice souvenirs being sold too
Owner super grumpy. Wasn?t happy we didn?t get coffee and used toilets. Do not recommend, the place is going downhill from now on. Worst place

We stopped here to have a little rest as we travelled from afar. It was a good place to have a seat. The food seemed great, but we arrived too late to have any, unfortunatly. We were too oate again on the return. As Arnie said, 'Ahll be back' tae get ma lunch

Great welcome and delicious food. stopped here today and we had chorizo soup which was recommend by the chef himself and was delicious !! Had great coffee and carrot cake to follow and my hubby had chicken and mayo toastie. Everything was top quality and well presented. The lady who served us was so friendly too and informative about the local area. Best stop we ve had in the last 2 weeks in Scotland. Highly recommend ! Stunning view from outside deck !

Excellent cafe on NC500. Cant fault the coffee and cakes. Service was very slow as they were understaffed so, they were not serving food apart from cakes. Nice clean toilet, inside and outside seating with great views. Would like to visit again when they were not so busy.
