Here on a cruise stop and everyone we passed from our sailing was raving about this place. Similar in format to American food truck set up. You find a small graveled picnic table are and the sign with today's offering. Head to the stand and place your order and then be prepared for a delicious fresh treat. I went with the Oysters and was so happy try this local flavor. Watching people who ordered their meal hot service came quickly. For those wanting more than a soda there is a gin stand highlighting local gins. Picnic tables are perfect for sharing with strangers. Take the plunge and sit down and get to know the mix of locals and vacationers.

A sort of food truck with benches and tables to sit on, we came across one day when the weather was nice, and it was super pleasant. The dishes are prepared fresh and are very good, with fresh seafood.Discovery (finally) of Cullen Skink, very pleasant surprise. (and there was also a stand to taste gin, but we still had a way to go)

This place was so good that we stopped there twice in the span of three days. It started out with a yummy haddock wrap that powered us through a 28 kilometre trek through the fisher fields. Then, after being slightly chilled by 60 mph winds on top of a Munro, we stopped by again for some local seafood chowder. It is safe to say that the cold was immediately swept away and replaced with tip to top warmth. Cannot recommend this place enough!Vegetarian options: Not a ton of vegetarian options seeing as it says seafood shack in the name.Parking: Number of spots located on the road just past the shack.

So I went here based on the recommendations, the food was lovely but nothing to shout about, I have had better, £14.40 for a haddock sarnie is a bit

I had heard about the Seafood Shack being very good & was not disappointed. What a good venture it is the food is cooked fresh in front of you whatever the catch of the day is. They have a large menu but you get what is caught that day. My wife & I had the Tempura battered Haddock wrap with lemon mayo & salad just to die for. We were there in September midweek & it was very busy so they are obviously doing something right.Keep up the good work

Read the reviews and they did not disappoint! I had the langoustines -- I thought they were very reasonably priced and were delicious. My son and husband both had the wrap -- they said it was the best fish the entire trip! Would have gone back again but they were closed for a staff appreciation function. Nice that they also appreciate their staff! It was a chilly day so we also enjoyed a warm gin drink from the local distillery. Warmed us for the walk around town!
