Wonderful experience with excellent food and service. Portions are very generous and super tasty. Chicken and steak pies were incredible, served with lovely fresh seasonal veg. Easy access from the campsite is an extra plus. Relaxed atmosphere and varied menu, but you need to book a table in advance. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely meal - fresh, home cooked food and generous portions, exactly what is needed after a day out in fresh air. Staff were all v friendly. So glad we went.

The food was amazing. Freshest oysters we've ever had and the lobster was exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the service was perfect. Delicious red wine and a stunning Scottish coffee. Fauran is a hidden gem, well worth the drive for. Simply put, it is a must visit!

This is a completely hidden gem. The food is fantastic. Beautifully cooked and the seafood is what you would expect from somewhere 200 yards from the sea. The staff are all friendly and the atmosphere inside is fantastic. There are lots of photos showing times gone by in the area. Amazing place and not to be missed.

This is a hidden gem. The staff are so welcoming, the atmosphere is great as it is for both visitors and locals, and then the food, it's on another level! We had half lobster and scallops for starters, followed by langoustine scampi! The seafood is a must. It's all caught locally just off the shore, unbelievably fresh! I can not recommend this pub more. This is only our 2nd night on the Port A Bleigh campsite, and it's the second night in the pub, I know we'll be back again all week! The only thing that is not something to reduce the start rating for is that it doesn't allow dogs inside, but there is ample seating outside along as you are brave enough for the early summer scotish evenings! Thanks you team, a great evening and dinner!

We ate inside for 2 evenings. I had steak pie both times which was delicious and the nicest one I have ever had! My Husband had langoustine scampi the first time and scallops in chili and ginger the second. Both were extremely fresh, tasty and delicious. The garlic mushroom starter and the little hot bread were also lovely. We had chocolate brownie and baileys cheesecake and my Husband now wants to marry the chef!!!
We also had haddock and chips for takeaway, same delicious food and generous portions. Highly recommend for freshly made, homemade, delicious food!

The perfect pit stop on our Scottish motorhome tour. The steak was delicious and the seafood (scallops and langoustines) are a must have. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service - highly recommend
