A top tip for Ullapool is that the opening hours advertised on Google are rubbish. They must apply to tourist season. I was relying on these being right to get something to eat in Ullapool in December but all the takeaways are shut and it?s just after 9pm. I don?t really blame them as the town is incredibly quiet but to show opening hours on Google that are completely wrong is a bit rough. Going to bed hungry now.

I had the darjeeling chicken and it was really good. The service and atmosphere was like so many other Indian restaurants, not seen as important.

We didn't have high expectations as we walked in. However, we all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Vegan food was great - very tasty and perfectly spicy. Sorry i cant remember dish name - it was the spicy vegan one. One had a garick chilli chicken ' hot, spicy and perfect. Good service. So glad we went in. Highly recommended - well worth going. But, remember to take your own alcohol (they are not licensed).

Food was average and some dishes had a lot of gee. The stand out feature was the waiter could not have seemed less bothered if he tried. Sorry guys, suggest you focus on customer service as it does make a difference and spoon off the gee so it's not so fatty.

Do not eat here, the food is substandard and the quantity and quality is less for meat but it is more for roti as is served as a chunk of batter.also they do not have card machine!! In this digital age!!Better drink water and

DO NOT EAT HERE.The food was terrible. We ordered a chicken Tikka masala and a chicken Korma and they were terrible: full of food coloring and too sweet, so sweet it was impossible to eat. The naans we had were burned, and the rice was a small portion for the price. Also, they don't accept credit cards.

What a great little find this Indian is, food is fantastic and service was excellent. They don't have a drinks licence but you can take your own if required and please note they only accept

We considered the reviews and thought we will give it a try.. wish we hadn't bothered.. the food was just ok, the CTM was overly sweet and bright red, the Rogan Josh was pleasant but not the best, I found a hair in my curry which then put me off finishing it. . The waitress was lovely and very helpful, but the rest of the staff seemed to be waiting for us to finish and not very friendly. It was very pricey for what we got. The chapattis were listed as tandoori rotis and cost nearly £4 for one!!! They were quite nice as was the garlic naan, but overall we we were very disappointed with the quality. The chicken tasted like it had been reheated and wasn't fresh. The mint/yoghurt sauce was watered down.. We won't be returning.

We dined here twice whilst on the camp site and we enjoyed our meals both nights, just as we liked them, a little pricey but very enjoyable.

Would highly recommend not going here. The service was appallingly poor. We asked for water which did not arrive for 15minutes, upon asking one of the servers - he stuck his palm out. The specific server refused to make eye contact so as to avoid being asked for anything. I understand that it was busy Sunday evening but feel like it was inhospitable way to behave. Overall it took more than 45mins to get our food served. The food was far from satisfactory, most of the dishes were doused in oil. The only saving grace was the garlic and chilli naan. The restaurant did not accept cards and seating was cramped. The reviews say it all really, so do not make the same mistake as us and give the restaurant a "try".

Where to begin ? too many things to say ...we're gonna make a list- the rice was too much cooked (don't know how is this possible for a restaurant but okay), the garlic rice was the same with burned chunk of garlic- the chicken is dry, cook on a skewer instead of in the sauce (ex: for the butter chicken) and is the same for all meals with chicken, yes they really thought it's ok to do that- the nans were burned in the bottom, cheese and garlic one felt like regular nans, sad- everything was sweet, too much sweet (even the nans)- the service was ok tho, nothing too fancy, the usualWe paid 70£ for disappointment, don't go in this restaurant

Starters tasted re-heated, the main was tasty but nothing special. Had to wait nearly an hour for main after our starters. The page states £10-20, that must be per main..... I had 2 pop and pickles, a starter and a main, and that came to around £30. Expensive for basic tasting food.

Poor food - £45 for takeaway for 3- keema with minimal mince in so basically a potato curry ! Someone had fun with the red food colouring too ! Missing a trick when campsite is next door - don?t scrimp on quality

We were on a NC500 Road trip and we stopped here for dinner - firstly we didn?t find parking space easily. Secondly the veg food had very less options to choose from - the food was also little highly priced. We ordered couple of veg dishes - the service was little slow. When the food arrived it had zero salt in all the dishes?. Overall a mediocre place to dine in ? if you are like dying for Indian food and there is no other option then only you can visit this.Vegetarian options: Very little options for vegetarians
