Beautiful and very clean rooms, to a very high standard. The house is wonderfully situated in the countryside near Ullapool, where you can find good restaurants within easy reach. Everything is done with love, the breakfast was the best I had in my whole holiday in Scotland. Very interesting people who are deeply rooted in their incredibly beautiful homeland. That's why Stephen can give you the best tips for hiking.

This place is a wee gem!
It?s such a beautiful location. But what makes it so special is you really feel welcomed into stephen and Margaret?s home.
Rooms are so comfortable and sitting in the lounge with a gin after a day in the hills a delight.
I recommend the absolutely delicious dinners!

Clachan Garden B & B was a wonderful place to stay overnight. The house was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail without being ostentatious. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed with beautiful views of the Loch and gardens. Margaret and Stephen were very warm and friendly hosts who were interested in their guests.

Definitely the best of a two and a half week Scottish holiday! Margaret and Steve were superb hosts and we enjoyed staying in their cozy home on a stormy night. So glad I booked supper after a wet and difficult day of bike tour! This is the closest to our own home cooking we had on the entire tour. Unbeatable. Beautifully appointed rooms. Highly intelligent kitty cat (outdoor and non-guest areas) who gives morning garden pre-breakfast tours. A lot of passion in this home and business unmatched elsewhere.
Noteworthy details: Located within a one acre walled garden producing fruit, veg, and cut flowers. Worth a stroll if you have ten minutes.

A beautiful B&B owned by very friendly people. We had a very nice stay here during our NC500 roadtrip. The room was comfortable and cozy. We also really appreciated the shower. The food (dinner & breakfast) was great and it was served in a room with a beautiful view into the lovely garden.

Slept at Clachan Gardens B&B while hiking the Cape Wrath Trail. While I had only booked one night - I called ahead one day early towards the end of the day for an extra night. They were very welcoming and accomodated another night - and even cooked me a delicious dinner even though I arrived quite late.My stay at Clachan B&B was perfect. The area is really nice with Clachan and the garden, the owners friendly and in for a chat if you like. The room is high quality and cosy. The best part for me was however the food: delicious breakfast and dinner with ingredients from the garden. Coffee was superb. A great place for a rest day on the Cape Wrath Trail.Bonus: the next they I was offered a ride into Ullapool for a stop at the outdoorshop before driving me all the way up to the trailhead. Lovely place, food ánd hosts.
