Wonderful stay. Great hosts, food, room. Weather wasn't so good but the scenery was still lovely. Will definitely visit again this year.

Slept at Clachan Gardens B&B while hiking the Cape Wrath Trail. While I had only booked one night - I called ahead one day early towards the end of the day for an extra night. They were very welcoming and accomodated another night - and even cooked me a delicious dinner even though I arrived quite late.My stay at Clachan B&B was perfect. The area is really nice with Clachan and the garden, the owners friendly and in for a chat if you like. The room is high quality and cosy. The best part for me was however the food: delicious breakfast and dinner with ingredients from the garden. Coffee was superb. A great place for a rest day on the Cape Wrath Trail.Bonus: the next they I was offered a ride into Ullapool for a stop at the outdoorshop before driving me all the way up to the trailhead. Lovely place, food ánd hosts.

Outstanding food and value for money.Ingredients are all taken from their garden or local produce. Venison with homemade sauce was 10/10 and the full breakfast was perfect.Clean room with great bathrooms and luxury bedding. Highly recommended.

Impossible to describe what an outstanding experience awaits the traveller who finds their way to this tranquil, beautiful spot and enjoys the hospitality of the charming hosts. Just go and find out for yourself. And be sure to ask for dinner. You won't regret it - or if you do regret it you will regret anything and should know better than to include in your options peace and quiet, unmatched scenery, great food, every amenity one could wish for in a remote B&B and outstanding hospitality.

Lovely and comfortable, well appointed, quality accommodation. Great welcoming hosts who, incidentally, make the very best coffee in Scotland! Breakfast was on time, superb quality and perfectly cooked. All served in the spacious conservatory with a pretty good view. There is a lounge with plenty of books, magazines, a TV and comfy sofas - just in case you are bored with the Scottish scenery! The only thing I would say, and this is nit picking... Plastic cups in the room when you have a Smeg kettle and decent size China mugs were out of place. And being on the rounder figure, the fluffy towels could do to be a bit bigger.

A true gem, everything was absolutely perfect and even exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome by Stephen and Margaret, who were incredibly kind and hospitable hosts, to the spacious and beautifully designed "Mrs Peacock" en-suite room that resembled a luxury boutique hotel. The room was tastefully decorated with stylish accessories, had a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The breakfast served with locally procured ingredients was simply amazing, and we couldn't help but admire the extensive collection of books available for guests to enjoy. The presence of a music studio added an extra touch of charm to the place. We are definitely looking forward to coming back again in the future.

Great home made meals with lots of produce from the garden, spectacular views of Loch Broom from the breakfast/dinner tables in the conservatory, lovely rooms, great hospitality from engaging hosts - even a beer if you ask nicely. Couldn?t be better!

What a treat to find this special spot! As Margaret, the owner along with her husband Stephen, said, the only noise you will hear are the chickens and the nearby sheep. We were met enthusiastically by Stephen and taken to our room, they all have names and are unique. We had the Miss Rose, which was very comfy and had lovely well appointed furnishings. The bed and linens were exceptional and the pillows perfect! The bathroom was great and had both a shower and tub. Towels were thick and large. Details like different teas and coffee in the room were a nice touch The home itself was amazing. The four bedrooms upstairs, the comfortable sitting/ lounge area for guests was well appointed with tv etc and books were at every turn throughout the home. Breakfast was in a newly added room with views on three sides, nice and sunny and a view of the gardens and sure area. Breakfast itself was delicious and as filling as you wanted. The pour over coffee was perfect, Stephen being the master of that! We had dinner one night and it was really excellent and filling. They spend a lot of time on cooking exceptional food. I have kitchen envy, lots of great appliances and space. I would wholeheartedly recommend this delightful bed and breakfast, it is a memorable experience both for the hosts, who are welcoming and engaging and work together and the well appointed home for a place we would love to return to and stay.

We stayed with Steven and Margaret for one night as part of our Cape Wrath Trail hike. They were very kind to accommodate us last minute after a tiring day despite having some renovations done the next day (for which they also gave us a discount on the room price). The rooms are very comfortable and you can tell that everything in there is selected with great care and love. We got a fantastic home cooked dinner and breakfast. The scrambled eggs were the best I've ever had! Overall a great experience and I can definitely recommend.

Luxury B&B that was still a WIP when we stayed. The bedrooms are beautifully finished, with views that will take your breathe away. The new conservatory was still being built.....but you wouldn't know it. Its very quiet. Its very very comfortable. The rooms have everything you might need, but there's also a guest sitting room with huge choice of books, games, WiFi and an 80" TV ...if you must. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Attentive considerate hosts. ...and if you're lucky enough to arrive on an evening when they're offering a dinner....enjoy it, especially the gelato. Make no mistake: this is The Place to Stay in Ullapool: its an easy 10 mins into the town....only this place is much more welcoming. Cannot recommend highly enough.
