Had a great dinner after a big day in the hills. Got drenched on the way, but the meal had everything what poor soul needs at this time. And a pint was gooood!Apparently they had live music, however, my party did not want to stay any longer so sadly had to leave, but live music is a big plus to the place!

Stopped off for breakfast before catching the ferry. Lovely place, friendly staff, real stove and nice food too. Could be easily missed if you don?t know it?s there. We only found out as the lady in the bakery up the road pointed us to it as we wanted a sit down breakfast and a brew. Worth a visit. Unsure of the rooms as we didn?t stay but if the rest is anything to go by I?m sure they will be on point!

Dear Google Reader,Please consider The Ceilidh Place on your travels to the mystical Ullapool. A terrific hospitality experience.Wine flowing. Espresso Martinis shaking. The craic happening. In between laughters there was an occasional shiver due to awful weather. Although, Huw was ever present - ensuring the log fire was topped up. The raucous flames matching the atmosphere. We happened to visit whilst MK Thomson and LG Thomson were exhibiting their art. Nothing short of incredible. Nothing quite like munching on artisan truffle chips whilst musing on the human condition. This is not only a fine dining establishment but a creative experience. We will return!

I came here for dinner with my partner and it was lovely. Lots of local seafood on the daily specials (hand dived scallops, langoustine from Lochbroom). The starters and mains were delicious and good portions. The service was really great and the atmosphere was warm and bustling. Highly

Because I think everyone means well I gave three stars even though I haven?t been. Because once I got there, they were closed. Perhaps in this digital day and age show that on your website? Or tell google?Looking forward to have a go somewhere in March!Noteworthy details: Geen ervaring dus kan niks vertellen!

We only went in for a pint and food. It was a gloomy, dreich evening and the whole town looked abandoned. The pub looked lovely and welcoming and they nice staff found a table for us despite no reservation ( it seems it is fairly busy; lots of other pubs and restaurants were closed :( ) . We ordered a pork shnitzel and were pleasantly surprised! It was such a nice change from all british cuisine! I must admin it was a great taste of European cuisine. Mash and cabbage were a great match for the meat. There was a small mix up with our order but staff were apologetic and lovely. We would be happy to come back and try other food there. The place is quite unique as well - they have a book shop and art gallery with interesting local art.
