Awesome view's of ailsa craig & isle of arran & the lighthouse. The golf course is on either side of the route to the lighthouse & sign's asking visitors to give right of way to golfers. The cafe/bar is expensive £5.50 for a hot chocolate .Not recommended if you've got mobility issues. A shame about not being able to go to the top of lighthouse.

Well, if you want to get a little Trump air, you've come to the right place. Don't forget to use the toilet.

Great walk across the golf course to reach the light house. Worth it for the dramatic views but can?t recommend the bar - £17 for a gin and tonic in a plastic cup with no lemon is more than extortionate!!

Popped in for a coffee during a walk having seen others recommending the coffee ?..Paid £10 for 2 coffees that were frankly undrinkable ? Won?t be back

We stay just down the road from here and thought we'd venture out in the damp and windy weather. Really enjoyed the views. Perhaps not great for those with mobility issues as it's a bit of a walk.

Lovely lighthouse, nice and neat.

Great views, lovely walk to lighthouse. But £5.50 for a big standard tea in a paper cup is ridiculous! So? go for the walk but don?t bother with the lighthouse cafe. Toilets at lighthouse very nice and clean.

Beautifully restored...a bit costly to stay but a beautiful spot for a very short walk 0.6 miles.

The most beautiful place on the west coast.

Despite it saying it was open online, we specifically drove here and walked to the Lighthouse to find the cafe was closed. There were a few disappointed people also there. Beautiful spot and heard they do a fantastic afternoon tea. Shame to not have been able to experience it.
