Five of us had dinner in the conservatory. They have an extensive menu with lots of exciting seafood options. It's a popular venue so booking is recommended. It has great views facing west especially if you catch a lovely sunset. All of our party enjoyed the food and we will definitely go backFood & drinks: At our latest visit the standard of the food prep was a bit patchy. I had a wonderful scallop starter served with an Asian style salad. For my main course I opted for traditional breaded haddock which was a little dry.

There 10/08/2023 for lunch. venue, starters, main courses & wine were all served and tasted perfectly.I have paid over double the money for inferior fair.no amount of money could buy the view or the tremendous staff.Without doubt my best lunch of this golf season.Food & drinks: Read above. We went to celebrate our sons 30th birthday.Our meal was for 10 people it was nice and service was OK, would not accommodate a change on the set menu..which on the phone was not a problem..they didn't even wish our son a Happy Birthday..maybe the only thing going of this hotel was the view. Would not recommend.

Here for a Saturday evening celebration meal and it was excellent.All the produce was amazingly fresh and tasty with what some were not what I have seen before but all worked.We even were able to take home 2hat 2e were unable to eat dude to large portions in take away containers to have at home.Excellent service and quality and would highly recommend.

Large, spacious, warm. clean room.Food delicious - stayed for 3 nights - not one disappointing dish - all on very hot plates.Staff - all helpful - Craig the manager was clued up - Mandy the breakfast and lunch waitress was very attentive - cleaner takes a pride in her work - all waiting staff helpful and friendly.Two beautiful dining rooms - one more traditional and one very modern.Location is a winner - elevated and overlooking the Ayrshire coast - with panoramic view of the coast from Barassie round to Troon, Prestwick, Ayr and Heads of Ayr.Two miles from Troon town centre but in the country so great sleep quality.My advice to the owners - don't change anything and don't change the staff.It works like a well oiled machine!
