Recently had a terrible experience here. We were not put in the room we booked and were told they couldn?t do anything to move us to the room we pre-paid for. The room was grungy and run down. When the staff were telling us about the prepaid breakfast we let them know we had to be out before this started and they assured us that bagged lunches are provided in these cases; we never received these despite checking in multiple times during the day. There was NO SHOWER due to lack of running water. Staff overall didn?t show any care for the numerous issues. The room walls are extremely thin and we were kept up until 2am due to other rooms partying until that time. There was NO internet provided and NO cell service in the room.
Clearly what they charge for the room is not going into upkeep for the hotel. Do not recommend staying here.

Fine. In need of renovation and some money being spent on it.
Our room didn?t have a handle to open the door, only a door knob so the door either had to be locked shut or left open and able to be pushed open.
The room was very basic and the window wouldn?t open which made it very warm and stuffy.
The bathroom was cramped and very basic but was clean and in working order after waiting around 10 minutes for hot water to come through the shower.
The breakfast was good, although the breakfast room was very dated and in need of modernisation.
Staff were friendly and cheerful in the morning.

The WORST hotel. No breakfast available before 9.30. No room cleaning. Bar never open. Didn?t see one member of staff for 3 days. A disgrace.

Stayed for one night in the actually beautiful, old hotel. Unfortunately, the age of the hotel is also its biggest problem. Everything is very dilapidated and the rooms are rather unkempt. But the breakfast was ok.

It has a faulty towers feel to it. Issue with room not having been cleaned on arrival with previous guests rubbish still in the room. Resolved by being moved room although the 1st room was bigger and more expensive. Place does look tired in places, but we weren't expecting to be staying at the Ritz. Staff are fantastic, and hotels downfall can be forgiven due to the efforts of the hard-working girls at reception and at breakfast this morning. Number of items unavailable at breakfast, including beans and potato scones. Bed was comfortable. Accommodation in the area is limited. At £100 for the night, it seemed a bit steep.Walkability: Not far from bars, pizza shop, beach and town centre.

The hotel is in a nice location. The rooms are spartan and would benefit from simple updates: lightbulbs in the wall lamps, fresh paint, extenders for wifi, etc. Breakfast was included and it was good.
