“Tongue Hotel is a beautiful piece of history on the NC500 route. A dog friendly hotel, the rooms are spacious, beautiful and comfortable. WiFi is good, and the rooms come with some lovely complementary coffee, tea, biscuits and sherry. We dined in the hotel for dinner, and whilst quite expensive, the food was excellent. The fish and chips are some of the best I've had.The complementary breakfast the next day is good too. Plenty of choice and a continental self serve available too. The scrambled eggs were a little underdone for our liking but altogether it was very good. Thanks for a great stay!”
