Great little place! Certainly the only gane in town but very generous home cooked dishes. The seafood chowder was chocked full of different seafoods and nice and creamy. The lamb shank was perfect as were all the trimmings.

My husband is still raving about his Roe deer from Clockhouse. If we pass by here again, we would be glad to stop by for another round of their classic Scottish hospitality & delectable meals!
Just a quick note about the antler lamp?although it makes for a charming display, the naked bulb is a bit strong on the eyes?maybe consider a softer bulb or a bit of diffusion? Sorry? we?re filmmakers & lighting is a bit of our ?thing.?

Absolute 5 star experience dining at The Clockhouse in Tomintoul. The food is out of this world, the hosts are exceptionally friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and the atmosphere was just perfect :) Thank you Irene and team for the best food and the best night out in a long time. We will be back!
