Only been once. Was busy, so lots of noisy chatter. Very pleasant staff. Five stars for food based on how delicious the Korean fried chicken bowl was. If you like a bit of spice get that. It's really great. My other half's chicken Cesar salad was excellent too, with plenty of quality anchovies, not the hard, canned cooking ones.

1ST TIME VISIT?
I went for lunch with my kids after having a play in the park the staff are so welcoming and the decor was stunning, the food was just amazing the portion size let's just say they are not shy with it, I would definitely recommend the boat house for a lovely meal.

Iv been to the Boathouse several times and loved it but I had to review it this time, I work near by so it is convenient to pop in for lunch. I ordered from the window to which a lovely young girl with good manners and a kind attitude served me and answered a couple of questions, she took my order of Korean chicken and rice with a can of Irn Bru for an easy transaction. I waited roughly 15 minutes for my food which is fairly quick considering they are running the restaurant at the same time. It came to £10.50 and for the portion and taste it?s perfectly priced. Chicken was crispy yet juicy, the sauce was sweet and spicy, the rice was fluffy and the presentation was on point as seen below. Can?t recommend eating here enough, hope you?re all well guys.

I?ve been coming here for years and I?m sad about the new changes to the menu, especially the takeout menu as it?s very limited and there isn?t much I can order, I like fried food as much as anyone but the fried mozzarella sandwich is very heavy and greasy. No more toasted sandwiches for sit in or the takeout menu out kiosk. The Mac and cheese at the sit in menu was very sweet for some reason. I hope that some of the new menu is reconsidered.

We had a really nice lunch here at the Boathouse last Sunday afternoon with the family on a recent visit to Rouken Glen. Our food was tasty and finished off with cake and coffee, which was made exactly the way we asked for, perfect! We sat outside (on one of the very rare sunny days) and the view over the pond added to the relaxing atmosphere. Nice flowers on the perimeter wall too. Big thanks to all the hard working girls for meeting us at the door and waiting our table, especially Emily Murray who served our table so well! It was very much appreciated! We'll definitely return soon.

Attended from quite a distance away today to find out they aren?t dog friendly either inside or outside although they claim to be ,didn?t get past the threshold so can?t comment on the food.

After an aborted trip to Greenbank gardens cos it was closed We adopted Plan B and high tailed it to Rouken Glen and the delightful Boathouse restaurant which was not open last time.The restaurant is a bright,airy,pleasant place with a welcoming atmosphere. Cakes, lemon Merigue pie, and Bananaand date loaf were so good they were hastily scoffed before i remembered that i'd forgotten to take pics of them?
Special thanks to our lovely friendly, very attractive blonde waitress who greeted us with kind words and a smile. A nice change from frequent, dour, i am bored with this job, faces? She was so nice,I offered to take her on an all expenses paid Carribean Cruise( Dream On)
Unfortunately, she thought I was kidding?? After a walk around the pond and Waterfall,this is a great place for Coffee repost and Blonde fantasies? Welcome return today. Had a wonderful Pastrami Deli bag with melted cheese. Worthy of note during summer cafe is open till 6pm.?
