Fantastic cafe, stopped for food and supplies while cycling last weekend. Martin, the owner really helpful with local knowledge and made our stay so much better.

We had a really good brunch with the kids on our recent trip to Loch Awe. The owners are super friendly and have all the local knowledge you need to make the most of your stay. The shop stocks all the daily essentials, plus firewood and fire lighters to roast marshmallows!

Best pizza I?ve ever had. Better than the pizza specialty restaurants I?ve visited in Glasgow. Order in advance and collect at allocated time. We reheated our left overs on a baking tray on top of the log burner which gave an even crispier base. Amazing toasties, cakes and coffee too.

Lovely, very helpful considerate people and a really nice vibe about the place. Call in if passing and support a great local business.

Excellent coffee and choice of delicious cakes in great location. Now open 7 days a week (cakes & coffee every day plus cooked meals most days).

Great little cafe and shop. Stopped here while on a cycling trip for coffee and cake. Now open 7 days a week (cafe only does coffee and cake on Monday and Tuesday, but has full kitchen service for the other 5 days of the week)

When we are away we like to support local businesses- today we tried to stop for a coffee and cake, 30 minutes before closing. Lady very apologetic saying coffee machine cleaned for the day, so only cold drinks. They lost £20 revenue, another couple arrived as we left, presumably for a drink. Seems a shame, if you?re open till 3pm you should serve until then.

We were a group of a dozen cyclists who took shelter here during a typical Scottish midsummer downpour whilst cycling along the amazing (but challenging) single-track road alongside Loch Awe. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and hospitable. Turned up unannounced and was served excellent coffee and a great selection of cakes. Strongly recommended for cyclists (or anyone else that likes good coffee and pleasant service).

Great friendly atmosphere, delicious lunch and the most amazing blueberry cake I've ever tasted. Really appreciated the great tips for walks as well.

Amazing setting, nice little shop and café but horrific attitude from the "chef" who was obviously having a bad day and was happy to take it out on customers (even snatching menus from the hands of customers) As such, we left and cannot comment on the quality of produce or meals. I think the very pleasant gentleman behind the counter was truly shocked by his chef's interactions on Wednesday morning and as such I hope that this was not a reflection of service as usual in what is a lovely and quaint little village store, cafe and hub.

We sneaked in early and had a delicious hot chocolate and the lightest carrot cake I've ever had. Returned the next day for a bacon sarnie and it did not disappoint. Great little cafe and a shop with most things I think you would need. I especially loved the shelves with locally made gifts. Treated myself to a few Christmas decorations which will be a lovely reminder. Will def visit again if we are in the area.
