I popped in yesterday as I am staying in a holiday rental. I was impressed with the range of good and other items on offer. There was also some lovely warm food available in what looked like the extended part of the store. I say warm because it was not available to be tested which if you are on the move isn?t really ideal. I do have to say though that the service was poor. Despite heavily engaging with the older man who served me I left feeling I never want to go back. There were three older men in the shop and smiling and nodding and trying to engage them didn?t meet with a positive response. So when you say friendly in your marketing blurb I have to say I disagree. A good proposition spoiled by surly staff.

I am new to the area and the staff in the spa shop have been friendly and very helpful. The shop is also very well stocked. Things in there that I'd never expected to see. Highly rated

This is a wonderful find. The chef is clearly at the top of his game! Speaking of game, we both had the Venison, and it was outstanding. Food and service like this is hard to find in the Highlands and we'll be back.

We weee lucky enough to stay in Lochcarron whilst touring the west coast and found an apartment above this fantastic restaurant. We liked it so much, we booked to come the next night too. Amazing locally sourced produce. The Cullen Skink was the best I have ever had - the star of the show - rich and tasty and deliciously creamy, the lamb shank was perfectly cooked and served with seasonal vegetables. My husband had the venison which melted in your mouth. We both had chicken stuffed with haggis on the second night which was filling and satisfying for a wet and rainy night. I had cranachan for dessert with was perfect - just the right amount of whisky and local raspberries. Great wine list too. Some reviews have said they found service was slow - we didn?t find it either evening. Cant recommend this place highly enough - we loved it. Well done guys!

Delicious venison and sticky toffee pudding. I think we were extremely lucky to get a table as it is quite small. Would really recommend booking in advance if possible.

Food is definitely excellent, no comment on that, worth the best. Only issue for one star is the length of the wait between order and service, in our case, one hour. So you'll have very good food provided you are patient.

Very well and fully stocked store for grocery needs and more! Lots of fruits and veggies, meats, breads, snacks and ready to go meals. Employees were great and friendly!

Well stocked little shop. Had most bits we needed for the evening. Was the only shop we found for over half hour driving. It was a welcome sight at that point
