We did not have this on our radar-so was a pleasant surprise when we were looking for a lunchspot. Seafood focussed menu but that was spot on for us-we had the Thai style seafood soup and half a lobster-service was friendly and quick.

We visited Kishorn Seafood Bar in quaint Kishorn during our trip through the Highlands, and it exceeded every expectation. Tucked beside the road at the head of Loch Kishorn, this sky?blue cabin offers panoramic views of Skye and the Applecross hills?pure serenity combined with unforgettable seafood ?.
We ordered the mixed seafood platter and half a lobster, and WOW?the quality was exceptional. The platter delivered a generous selection of locally caught shellfish: succulent scallops, crab claws, oysters, mussels, langoustines, and more; truly ?Wester Ross on a plate? ?. The half lobster was cooked exquisitely?perfect texture, sweet, and beautifully presented. Other diners have praised similar dishes as ?fantastically prepared? and ?well worth every penny? ? ?.
Service was outstanding. We felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after from start to finish?attentive and friendly in that relaxed Highland way ?. Despite the modest scale of the place, the kitchen and dining area are open-plan, so you can see your food being prepared, which adds charm and confidence in their approach to freshness ? ?.
Yes its superb seafood sourced from local boats that morning and cooked with care, every bite is worth it. The views over the loch, the relaxed ambience, and the real care put into each dish make it one of the best seafood experiences in the Highlands

Fantastic is the word to start with. The surf clams was the bees knees for the starter. Main course was a ham hock croquet with pan fried scallops with black pudding with a cream and bacon sauce. The meal was cooked to perfection

Flawlessly executed local seafood - with extremely friendly service. Extraordinarily fresh with a wide variety of choices, this quaint restaurant is a must on your NC500 journey.
Seafood platter, Linguini, Scallops and soup were all excellent - could not be faulted.
