Perfect. Everything about this place is perfect. We had the mixed seafood platter with a superb section of different smoked local salmon, smoked mackerel with a black pepper crust, local oysters, langoustines, and cracked crab claws. The owner and staff were engaging and personable. We struck up a conversation with a couple from the Netherlands sitting next to us. This unassuming cottage is home to an ideal seafood experience.

This was an amazing visit, the lobster was fantastically prepared, it is on the pricier side with half a lobster at 28 pounds but it is well worth every penny, the service is quick and friendly, the views are beautiful, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to eat lobster.

The food speaks for itself! Super fresh seafood! Just go for the seafood platter (£130 now) that has everything! We also ordered an additional serving of salmon as we (2 of us) were still hungry. Also didn?t disappoint! Worth making the trip there!

Very basic inside but worth the visit if you love seafood. Very nice platters with langoustines, crab, salmon etc. Quite price but all good seafood is. And this was good seafood.

Drove past this place and it looked incredibly inviting, popped in and they squeezed 2 for a last minute dinner reservation. Smelt absolutely divine as soon as you walked in the door. We shared the scallops and seafood spring rolls, and a seafood orzo pasta and it was 10/10, on both presentation and taste. Thank you for a delicious dinner!

Excellent! Food and service excellent. We arrived early for a table, as it was a rainy day and wanted to sit inside. Wow the smell from the open kitchen sets your taste buds off straight away. Food was delicious and service great as well. What a find! Don?t take in any notice of negative reviews, this place is a find! We called on the NC500 route. Will be back, absolutely delicious!

Amazing food. Incredible! And the loveliest and most attentive staff.We had the KSB angel burger (scallops, cod burger and sirloin steak) which was amazing! I was worried the sirloin wouldn?t be tender enough to have in a burger but I was wrong! Perfectly done.The dressed crab was simply done. Would eat here every day! Keep up the good work!

Amazing experience. One of the best meals we have had dining out. The food was fresh and cooked to a very high standard. The atmosphere was quaint and comfortable. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

The most fresh shellfish I've tasted with beautifully prepared accompanying sauces.We had to go back two days later. Be prepared to pay for the quality produce!

I gave this 4 stars because the fare was very good and a nice setting (on a nice day). We had the Scallops £18.50 and hot smoked salmon fillet £16.50. I dropped a star because it is expensive and maybe not as good as what you would get at the shack in Ullapool or Oban for a more reasonable price. When researching it is difficult to find a price list, because apparently it is priced everyday, but I think they could give a ballpark figure if they wanted to. I've posted a couple of pictures showing the pricelist on our visit. Definately worth a visit but maybe not too often.
